  1. Started by masterminicon,

Okay guys, I'm looking for some slightly reflective metallic paint to use to touch up some of my movie figs, and I thought I'd found something, turned out it wasn't what I thought it was and returned it. I've been searching, and I cam across some Humbrol polished aluminum and polished steel paints. These seem perfect as the lid is supposed to match the paint inside. Any thoughts? Has anyone used these paints at all?

Masterpiece Mid-Warp Skywarp version 2. This round, I did the same mods to his hip kibble (relocated and permattached to his lower legs, modified back wings and tail to accommodate standing in robot mode) Also, went with a little more fun on the warping effect, this time - he's materializing from the left, and there are holes and patches of clear throughout. Also added a nice gloss on the cockpit window. Full gallery can be seen : www.frenzyrumble.com or or https://www.facebook.com/pages/FrenzyRumble/277523541966

Working on converting a Universe Prowl to Prowl's original altmode and robot-mode appearance. And making him look better in general. You can't really see it in the picture, but he has a straight lightbar now.

  6. I did an impromptu video of a head mod + Swap that I thought turned out pretty darn good. Here is the link to my mod. I personally think the original head was too large and didn't really give the attitude that fits SS. I saw the Kre-O set on sale at Target so I finally got it to do this. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MsuR7oTchTY I found out as an added bonus the Kre-O figures actually fit nicely in the seats too! Sweet! So Kre-O SS can ride in Alt SS driver seat! I also plan to paint the head black as the all red head needs it since it blends in with the rest of the vehicle. Thanks for checking it out and I hope you like it! My next one is to swap Alt Ski…

Work in progress Red Alert. Been wanting a "real" g1 prowl and looking at all the great customs got me all fired up so I sacrificed Red Alert. Problem was, now no Red Alert. Got a 2nd hand "Lambor" (raises a light mounting question, but RA always looked more like SS) here is the work so far. Painted in vehicle mode so no real change to the front. Working on that.

  8. Started by Jin Saotome,

After finding the head to a classics Optimus Prime under my desk (so that's where it went after his arms went to make Shockwave!) I thought to myself it's been a while since I made an Optimus. Of course he needed a body. Searching...searching... A Henkei Inferno caught my eye with the bright red colors, chest windows, and square arms. I removed his toes and blocked out his foot like Prime's using styrene, got rid of his shoulder lights, and Then repainted him with Tamiya spray lacquer. But he was still missing something. Smokestacks! I snagged the gun to classics Prime and modded it to attach to his back. Now he can wear his weapon for a more G1 look or fire it. The extra…
