  1. Started by LHC,

Reason: I ended up getting Ironhide around the time he was just being released for a really cheap deal, hearing all the hype on him pushed me to own one, but once getting it in my hands, i was slightly disappointed, butt flaps, are flaps, glued head and the cannons. I was glad Hasbro finally gave us a big Ironhide, but i guess after seeing what they did to ROTF LDR Prime and Starscream, i got a bit spoiled, as i was walking to the Laptop to post him on ebay to get rid of him, i saw Frenzy Rumble, Zildjian, X-Cal, Encline and others Customs on this figure and they all looked beast. So i said why not, the hardest part of this was figuring out the color scheme. But i am ful…

  2. So I was meaning to try this for a while. Finally the Kre-o sets were on sale again at Target and I picked up the LC SS at TJM. It was actually harder than I thought to get the head off because of the electronics. I am not sure how to make the eyes on the Kre-o head light up, any suggestions? I want to swap the hands out as well, but I may just do a mod as I don't know if I want to mess with the arms. I want to keep the pop-up weapons working and I still want it to transform without having to remove pieces. I removed the spring that made the cockpit close after pulling it down so in Alt mode it would resemble a more opening canopy style. Check out the pics! Thanks for lo…

Classics Ice Storm started as Starscream. The client wanted this set (2 of 3) to resemble the MP seekers I did in the past, yet with subtle changes to the effects. Full set of images can be seen : and https://www.facebook.com/pages/FrenzyRumble/277523541966

  6. Started by Jin Saotome,

He's always hungry, tirelessly looking for his next meal. Every battle is like an all you can eat Autobot buffet for him. It's the Decepticon drone Scrapmetal! Wielding pieces of his victims he uses them as weapons, armor, or even a snack. Scrappy was made from a Topspin body, Insecticon head, and Megatron hands. Ball jointed wrists were added along with scrap metal panels from different transformers fodder and other parts. They plug into his Mech Tech ports so he can use them as weapons, armor, or as a snack. His color scheme was based off the Cybertron Scrapmetal drone and has a ton of metallics, rust, and weathering done. More pics here---> Scrapmetal

  7. Started by Jin Saotome,

Props to Shinobitron for doing this headswap first. Smoulder's head on Rescue Ratchet was a great idea! I took it a step further after seeing Playschool's new Rescue Bots Heatwave and wanted a fire/rescue vehicle but in regular TF style. I constructed some shoulder cannons from various parts and a blazing axe from a DCU weapon. An extended light bar came from movie Longarm. The knees were modded to allow him to stand straight up, shoulders panels modded to fold all the way in, and bumper that now swings down and locks the chest in place. Now Heatwave is ready to roll! The head mod requires you to install one of those yellowsub ball joints mentioned in my guides, it fi…

What if Sentinel Prime knew that when he sided with the Decepticons to rebuild his home planet it would change the future of his kind? What if he could combine the best of both races it would bring about a new breed of warrior? What if he knew that foras well as the cold logic and shrewd tact of a Decepticon? And when this new breed emerged, who would lead them? Hidden with Sentinel as he made his plans, a young proto-form was guided by his hand, trained in the honor of the Primes but skilled in the evils of A Decepticon. He was being bred to lead the next generation. Sentinel is destroyed before his prodigy is able to rejoin him within the Ark.…

my take on a more G1-ish Huffer using the PCC mold, really just a simple headswap with a Machine Wars Prowl and I used what was left to make my original character Decepticon Clutch I am now working on making a G1 Rotorstorm out of a Machine Wars Sandstorm and articulate him ( yes I know it's been done to death, lol let me know what you think :tfevil

  10. Started by Novaquake,

I've had a Machine Wars Starscream since it came out. Unfortunately, it has always been this hulking monstrosity that I'm certain the other Starscreams in my collection make fun of. The last straw came when a friend saw it and called it a GoBot reject. I've decided I'm going to either make it worthy of its space on the shelf with my other Starscreams or destroy it in the process. Ultimately I would like to make it at least vaguely resemble G1 Screamer while in robot mode and also make it more pose friendly. Machine Wars Screamer has 2 points of articulation, a turntable joint at each shoulder. I'd like to give it better shoulders, and add elbows, knees, hips, and…
