  2. Transformers Garage is on the look out for the best custom / kitbash to feature each week here and in the Transformers Garage Hall of Fame section. This week's featured custom is Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen Shockwave by Jin Saotome. "What's Transformers without Shockwave I ask you? He's like the jelly to a PB&J, the bottle cap to a beer, you know what I'm saying right?" We do indeed, Mr. Saotome. Read more. Read the Full News Story Here

  3. Started by STPrime,

Please post your nominations for the best custom of the month. It can be any completed Kitbash (no WIPs please) in the garage, not just ones added this month. Post the name of the customizer and a link to the custom/gallery you are nominating in this topic by November 23rd. After, I will make a poll for the top 10 nominations and let everyone vote on the winner. Remember, you can't nominate yourself and you don't have to second anyones nomination. One is all it takes, so instead, nominate someone else. On a side note, due to last months low number of nominations, if this months is the same we, the mods, will be choosing the customs and you, the members, will still ge…

Have been wanting to do an alternators arcee for a while now and with windcharger being so readily available in the UK I was seriously considering buying one to repaint (a la 2 fast 2 furious) into arcee. However, on closer inspection I think that it may be worth waiting for drag strip to base the custom on as he has both the spoiler, alloy wheels and body to suit the 2F2F car. What do you guys think as I could start today with windcharger but would need to make more modifications. (and the wheels would be different)

  5. Revenge of the Fallen Leader Class Megatron custom Transformer. 2 major mods on this custom. Megatron's left arm was a little...small. It was replaced with a ratcheting arm with more bulk, and ROTF hand then attached to it's end. This arm stores up top, under the tank canon turret. His larger arm, a tightly fit and snug ball joint was added at the elbow, allowing free range and articulation in that arm. He was primed with black fusion, then coated with house of kolorz gloss black, followed by a layer of alclad. Next came some washed and dry brushing, about 14 different shades of silver and rust. Detailed with copper, gold and brass. Finally, washed with Tamiya clear "smok…

  8. Starscream i cut off his head and drilled a hole, then widend the hole on the bottom oh his head, then i used a stickfas ball joint and shaved it down to fit into the holes, now he has a posable head i made some hands out of wire and styrene tubing, Ratchet 1 - ratchet has movable thumbs, but there is no room for them to move, so i cut away some plastic, and now he can move his thumbs, a minor step towards a better figure 2 - ratchet needed a gun, and didnt need an axe thingy, A- unfold the axe from arm, dont open the axe blade B- rotate arm 180 degrees so the axe sits above the arm (already looks like a gun) C- put the…

EDIT: (Gallery http://www.tfmaster.com/gallery_kb0184.php ) -------------------- Well, the Mustang Prowl project left me with an extra body. I had been planning to make it into Red alert since before I had even decided that Prowl would be a Mustang. In fact, originally I was going to use the RX-8 for Prowl, and sculpt the Meister head into Red alert's. That's still the plan, in fact. You can see the car mode fits the character quite nicely. Just need some decals to make it work completely. Paint job's been done for quite some time now. I plan to modify the doors using a technique another fellow kitbasher has used, ha…

  10. Started by Valkfan,

I finally finished my newest custom Alternator head yesterday and was able to paint it last night. I painted it black because I thought it went well with the paint scheme and was a nice way to incorporate Soundblaster into my Alternator Soundwave. The head was made from scratch with the exception of the crest which I modified from a reissue Soundwave head. The Laserbeak and shoulder cannon are of course from a Titanium Soundwave.
