Upgrades

Here it is! Your place to share upgrade kits, stickers, customs, repaints, 3D Printing projects and more than meets the Transformers Garage!

  1. Transformers Garage is on the look out for the best custom / kitbash to feature each week here and in the Transformers Garage Hall of Fame section. This week's featured custom is the Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen Power-Up Optimus Prime by frenzy_rumble. It's a little more action-packed in this week's custom of the week, as we cannot do the Power-Up justice without showing you both the modded version of Optimus Prime and Jetfire. 2. Started by convoymagnus,

My fellow transfans, hi you all: yes this is me again to show you may latest in progress sculpt, Orion Pax head. Even that I could not get the toy launched by e-hobby i really think that kup mold is a very good resemblance of Orion but i disliked the KUP head repainted so have tried to make a decent head for this toy. This version lookks little rough because is an in-progress version but in two or three days I will be posting pictures for a finished head, so Please give me your comments. If there is anybody interested i can reproduce it for a very low price plus S/H so yuo can have an accurate Orion pax toy. enjoy: More pictures? please see picture …

After a 1 year hiatus from customizing, here's my take on ROTF Prime. Modded with articulated hands, removable swords, and custom made gun. View the Custom Gallery Here

  6. This is my interpretation of what I think TFA Arcee's Earth Mode would look like. She is made from a TFA Jazz, with some mods to the fenders and doors. The head is custom made and has an earth magnet neck, that gives her the ability to swivel, plus it fits into the car mode a little easier this way. Paint is Model makers Acryl. I really like how she turned out. View the Custom Gallery Here

  7. Started by Garage Mod,

So this is a commission for the never released 2004 OTFCC (Official Transformers Collectors Convention) It started as a RID Prime, painted with house of kolorz lacquers and enamels, clear coated with a special blend of enamels and lacquers. I built the head from scratch. it was fun, but a lot of work. I'll be posting alt mode pics tomorrow as the clear coats will be cured by then. View the Custom Gallery Here

  9. Started by Breaker,

I LOVE Sideways in the game, snipers FTW. My wife bought me ROTF Sideways as an early birthday present today and since it was raining too hard for yard work I thought I'd paint him to be a little more bad ass. I used his video game art and the trailer where he gets cut in half as reference. I used Testors enamel flat black as a base coat for almost everything, then followed it up with gloss black and insignia red here and there. Silver apps are actually the aluminum color, but they work well. His sniper rifle is an old G.I. Joe rifle (something I've had since I was a kid and have long forgotten where exactly it originated). I used a drill bit to make a small peg …

  10. Started by RomXXII,

The hired help were spring cleaning in my sister's condo, and apparently one of them knocked over Soundwave so hard his mini plug was jerked off of its soldering and fell inside the casing. I've tried to disassemble the bugger, but I don't see any other screws aside from the two behind his shoulder, and the damn thing won't come apart. He should still be under warranty, but I've grown attached to this particular one, so I wouldn't want to have him replaced if I could get it fixed. Any help would be appreciated.
