My take on ROTF Bumblebee. Pretty much just a boring straight repaint, but I decided to dirty up the robot parts to give it a little more of that movie vibe. I was debating on whether to post this or not because I'm sure everyone has seen enough BBs already, but yeah since I already took the pics I decided to share it anyway. View the Custom Gallery Here

While playing around with the twins, i noticed that Skids's "backpack" could fit into Mudflap's "backpack" and moving the legs, Mudflap's head and doorwings, here is a possible combined form! What i find funny is that it looks like a SumoI'm working on a head for him, and trying to figure out a name. Each step leading to it's end will be updated in this thread.C&C!Update!: Finished! and Bio/PicsBio:After nearly being crushed by the rogue Decepticon Bounty Hunter (not Lockdown, another custom character that is coming soon) the twins were saved by their teammates Sari, Raptanica, Knockout and Dune Runner (don't have the latter 2 yet, but will get). Their efforts to protec…

Finally. Been busier than it looks, but got the chance tonight to take some pics of Power-Up Prime. In the future, I hope to build a concept art accurate (non-transforming) LED galore Power-Up Prime, however this one here is composed of the following ROTF Leader figures:Optimus Primehttp://www.flickr.com/photos/accardi1/sets...57620820442660/Jetfirehttp://www.flickr.com/photos/accardi1/sets...57620655860081/In addition, I made some modifications to the combination. Jetfire's nose sits in the shoulders (they actually wedge in nicely) and are (still) detached from his forearms) I think the way they follow the shoulders is a lot more accurate. Looking at the art, he's got so…

Since I started kitbashing my ultimate goal was to have a freakin awesome Devastator that would at least have some cartoon accuracy in it. Well, after two years of waiting, thinking, and buying TF's, I had come up with an idea that would make this possible. When Primus came out I found that he was the answer to Unicron's oversized forearms and hands. I also had problems finding a cement truck TF and, for a minute, I thought Cybertron Quickmix was the answer. Then I realized he was way too big to fit with Landmine. So anyways, it took me just about six months to do this guy. Working on a combiner is tuff! This is also my first trial at blackwash. I did this so that the…

Just a quick disclaimer, this painting guide isn't meant to step on any toes or rewrite the ways of painting TF figures. There's no right or wrong way to paint and this is just a step-by-step guide because people have been requesting I make one. I've recieved well over 200 emails asking for this guide and numerous posts on the different TF boards. So here you go, a basic guide that shows how I paint step-by-step. The guide is split up into two parts for easy viewing. It also features my new custom Swinwave too, heh. I'll have to post a thread about him later but he's up on my site. The Fallen is one terrible baddie of Transformers lore and to see him on the big screen was certainly a treat. He had a great scene where he raised his staff and levitated the army vehicles only to slam them back down. However the toy didn't come with the staff and I figured I should take a crack at making one. The Fallen himself was modified with a longer ball jointed neck, light up eyes with a battery pack, and new hands. The staff was made from parts and a styrene rod. Lemme tell you it took a long time to paint all those little orange lines on the Fallen too. He no longer transforms into the 'Cybertronian Destroyer' either. The Fallen didn't have an alt mode in the mo…

Hi everyone, i've been wanting to get into customizing, and i thought i would start with some simple paint applications. Nothing drastic, just a few repaints here and there to start things off. My question is, when it comes to paint pens versus traditional paints with brushes, is there any difference in the quality and or durability of the paints? And also, is there any prep work involved on the actual bot before i begin the painting?

Sideswipe was pretty impressive at the beginning of the Transformers, Revenge of the Fallen movie with all his street-skating locomotion. I wanted to recreate the detachable blades but the ones he come with are really just the sides of the car doors and aren't really accurate. So with a bit of styrene sheeting I constructed new slip-on wrist blades for him. I also removed the foot covers and glued them on to the front of the car permanently and added various hoses and sculpt to make him look more detailed. One battle-ready paint job later and Sideswipe looks as if he's been cutting up Decepticons all day long!More pics here---> Sideswipe RotF View the Custom Gallery He…
