Here's a fan request, Seaspray! A couple people emailed me wanting to see the little G1 hovercraft created movie style. I decided to keep his G1 colors and used the scout Depthcharge mold since he's very articulated and has boat shoes to start with, heh. One repaint later and he was ready to take to the seven seas and hunt down Decepticon baddies! View the Custom Gallery Here

Transformers Garage is on the look out for the best custom / kitbash to feature each week here and in the Transformers Garage Hall of Fame section. This week's featured custom in our "we wish we could have this" series is Transformers Animated Arcee Earth Mode by Mangamike. "This is my interpretation of what I think TFA Arcee's Earth Mode would look like," he tells us. Based off the Animated Jazz figure, Magnamike has performed some mods to the fenders and doors. Love this guy from the movie but hate how the toy and every other custom so far has been predominantly red. Well thats all changed now, did the mods including a new double balljointed neck, claws on bucket and also removing the tabs on his wheels so they can free spin and roll around. Paint job was based loosely on what he was supposed to be in the movie which is a Terex Mining Excavator. After he was done being painted(with lacquers and enamels no less)I thought the white was way to clean so busted out my pigments and went to work, he has realistic mud and splatter effects and an overall dirtiness that an excavator on the job would have(including a polished bucket front …

It's Mixmaster! At first look I really wasn't impressed by his mold but after getting him out of the package and transformed I have to admit he's pretty cool. However the getting-to-transformed was perhaps the most complex twist and turns I've ever done. It was a good 10 minutes of trying to figure out what folded, what spun around where, and how it pegged in. Mixmaster was later given the treatment, a full paint job of varying washes, highlights, metallics, grease/oil splatter, the works. I worked off the concept art colors and took some liberties here and there (as well as transformation) as I couldn't find many good shots of him in the movie. Here's hoping I did mixy p…

Demolisher joins my Revenge of the Fallen customs as one of the cooler designs in the movie in my opinion. Unfortunately the toy itself is pretty lacking and usually passed over in the aisle. Well not this time. I started out with the original toy and removed the head adding a new double ball-jointed neck (if you want to remove the head for this mod you can easily just tear it straight off) fold up fingers within the shovel made from Soundwave's toes, and modded the tires so they're free spinning. I also added sculpt inside the main body cavity like hoses, gears, pistons, and on the outside added wire to various sections. The paint job is a mix of shading, airbrushing, so…
