Hey fellow Illinois transfans. I'd like to start up a tf club here in IL. Get a group of folks to meet up a few times a month to hang out and talk tf. PM me if anyone is interested!

ANYONE going? I am taking the train up from NJ that saturday with some friends from work. Pretty much going just to go, don't have a comic or item want list or anything. Might stand in line to see Todd Mcfarlen again, maybe Kevin Smith, but other than that, just brousing. Best case scenario possible would be to run into some Diaclone dealers from Japan with some reasonable items I don't have...but that's as far fetched as it could be. Might get lucky and see some new imports, like the new King X-Kaizer or something. Anyone know anything about the convention? Hasbro wasn't on the list.

There will be a Transfan meet-up in Niagara Falls! It is on the Canadian side, on Feb 18. The organiser is John Hunt. If you would like to go, please let him know at jphunt@sympatico.ca so that he can have a sense of how many people are going. I will be there, and I encourage you all to bring trade items. I'll be bringing stuff, and there will even be a raffle. The location is called "Pen Centre". Either look it up, or ask John for directions, because I have never been there myself.

Are there any adult TFans in Long Beach CA and in surrounding areas (562, 714 area codes). I feel like I am the only one. I was thinking if there were enough fans out this way to maybe put together a group or something that could meet once a month or so.......sort of what wheeljack has done in the past in San Fransico. Is there anybody out here?

I keep meeting really great people on TFans and I enjoy chatting with them - usually at the expense of my Workday However I always find out that they are East Coast or in the South. No offense to either of those regions but.. i would like to be able to meet up with TFans face to face if possible. I missed the TF-Con in Pasadena last year - cause i was dumb... SO Anyone in the Los Angeles/Southern California area want to get together and do Pizza? we could maybe plan a house party - watch TFTM and act stupid! Anyone have those rare BM, HeadMasters on Video/Dvd they want to share? What else could we do as a group? Do we want to start an actual fanclub out h…

Since I have never been to a con before I had some general questions about tfcon. How long does it usually last? How many people usually attend? Im intrested in buying lots do alot of dealers usually show? I would have to fly from alberta all the way to the con are there fairly decent / affordable places to stay? I look forward to some awnsers and im sure i'll have more questions. I look forward to making tfcon my first con!

I was thinking some time in May of 2006, Also need to know if you would rather have a one day show or a 2 day show. I will start working on the details like pricing of tables, And will try to work something out for hotel rooms for those of you that will need them. Also maybe we could do a meet and greet dinner. Let me know by either reply here or e-mail me thanks Jim
