Convention Center

As topic, I've got a friend who is in SD on business, and he's only going to have time to go to the preview night thing (Which he has connections enough to get into.) I'm absolutely salivating for Alt Rodimus, and I've promised him everything short of my first born child (though negotiations are still open) if he would pick one up for me to help fill the void. (I just moved 2,600 miles from Memphis to San Francisco, and I've had to leave all of my precious toys behind until I can afford to have them shipped out to me.) The problem is, I don't know if they will actually be selling him that night, or if it will have to wait for con proper the next day. I even emailed th…

my plans have been changed and now i have to fly directly to providence. but it will be almost a $200 difference between me arriving thursday rather then wed. i would rather go a day early if it will save me some cash. is anyone going to be there wed night that would let me sleep on thier floor? i would gladly pay some cash for the trouble. please pm me if you can help me out. thnx.

I found out that the guy I was going to Botcon with is now not going. Major bummer for me. I live in Nashville, but I may be making a trip to Cincy Ohio right before, so there or anywhere in between or close would work fine. So anyone who wants to carpool and save some on gas, let me know. I'm debating on driving versus flying now. I have a room at the main hotel. Looking to split the room. Should be two beds in it. For room splitting - I'm a goofy guy, but when it comes to sleep I like it quiet. So pretty much just quiet while sleeping, and I can't stand smoking. And I bathe each day. I plan on arriving at Botcon on Thursday, and heading home on Sunday.

I'm wondering who's going to Botcon 2007?

I've never been to a BotCon before and I was planning on checking it out this year in RI. Does anyone know if they usually have vendors there? If so, are they stores set up by Hasbro, or are they more third party type vendors. What are the chances that I would find MP-SS or MP-Megs for sale there? Any info provided would be most helpful. July is just around the corner and I need to know how much money I should be saving before then.

Anybody going? It's the one on april28 in Toronto... more details at their site www.transformerscon.com I'm gonna get my voltron DVDs signed by Michael Bell. Maybe get an Alt Sideswipe signed too. it should be pretty cool

Hello all, Just got an email from another member that he will not be able to go to BOTCON. He was pull for Jury duty and the case is to start on the Monday 25th of Sept. So I have a double room book at the hyattfrom the Thursday the 28th till Sunday Morning the 1st of October. All you have to do is share the close of the room.

I saw some replies to some BotCon threads about people that have a spare bed and thought it would be smart to consolidate. In my case, I got a room at the Marriott and was all ready so the wife and I could go, but something came up and she has to work on the one night I had the hotel booked for. So that leaves either a queen size bed or a sofa bed for the night of the 29th. I'm out of $80 at this point, so here I am. I'm asking $60 for the other bed at the Marriott for the night of the 29th. PM me if interested.

I'm already booked for a room at the Marriott, but how the hell do we register for this thing? Past botcon-ers, when is it normally posted on the botcon site for us to register for the convention...or do we even need to register?

Hey guys. anyone here going to the NYC toy fair in Feb? This wil be my first time to this thing. Can some one describe what am I to expect? Is it like E3? cause I have been to that. I realize there are different aspects of E3. there is the general exhibits where they show the new games and such. And then there is the media and business side. with the closed doors and meetings and such. Im just interested in seeing new TFs that are suppsoed to come out. and is there free swag at these things?
