Happened across Prowl and Sunstreaker at the Harrisburg, PA Toys R US the other day. I posted a write-up and a couple pictures of both at http://yearwithout.blogspot.com, but basically I don't like Prowl and rather like Sunstreaker. I'm looking at these as toys first, and had more fun with Sunstreaker. I like the transformation, the little automorph gimmick, and generally how the toy feels. Prowl's head annoys the hell out of me, the unpainted missiles look cheap, and it is not fun to play with. I should have Octane early next week to review.

Ok, I'm looking for a character conversion to do for blue BT Prowl. Reprolabels has their Nightbeat set, but it looks, well, kind of cheesey, lol. I was trying to think of any more blue car characters (either autobot or decepticon) that can be shoehorned into the mold, but came up blank. Any suggestions?

Ok, I have been doing these repaints made from Hasbro's Transformers instructions for a wile now and I got to think made there is a way to get maybe one made into an actual repaint figure. Today I picked up Divebomb and Cruellock. Then someone told me that Megatron had been sighted at a local Walmart, but I was now short the money. D'oh! Well, I'll get him next week. Anyways, the Terrorcons... Divebomb is fantastic. His falcon mode is very impressive. I especially like the green energon feathers in his wings, they look really sharp and deadly. I also like how he is quite possibly the first bird TF ever that uses a smaller set of legs in beast mode so that his legs aren't all fat and disproportionate. My only complaint is that he looks a little too Zoid-ish, and that his head robot head is poorly hidden, but other than that, he still looks great. His…

Over the past month I've won 2 Fortress Maximus's. The better of the 2's stickers has some wear and I'm trying to decide if I should strip them or leave them on. I plan on keeping the the 1 with the most wear and tear and bashing it. Just repaint the grey and white so it's grey and whit again and putting on some repro labels. But, I plan on eventually selling the other. What would fetch more cash, a complete FM with worn labels or a FM with no labels?

how many of the energon limbs were repainted as target exclusives? which were they? could you please post links to images? thnx.
