HitandRum's Plan for a Fan-based Figure?

HitandRum's Plan for a Fan-based Figure?

Ok, I have been doing these repaints made from Hasbro's Transformers instructions for a wile now and I got to think made there is a way to get maybe one made into an actual repaint figure. Now, here's my plan: First, we'll need to talk to other fan-ased websites' administrators for their support. Then, we'll let the fans vote on which of four of my repaints Hasbro should do. (Choices are: The Fallen, Ratchet, Laser beak or Steel Hull {pics below}) Then, when we have a winner we (and other fan-based websites' administrators) will solicit Hasbro with the help of a Toy and Game Broker or The Industry's Trade Association to hopefully get the chosen TF repaint figure made. So, what you think will it work or should I stop doing these repaints since Hasbro won't make any of them?

Well, I'm guessing the Laserbeak repaint is already in the works; it's yet to have a redeco on it, so chances are good once Energon is done that it'll pop up in Universe. The others look good, but I doubt HasTak would take a fan deco seriously, if for no other reason than to avoid being flooded w/ subssequent fan deco requests if one were granted.

I think a more feasible solution would be if Hasbro were to revive the Collectors' Club like 3H was trying to start, let members vote on fan-submitted redeco concepts, then produce it alongside a company-created redeco like previous convention exclusives.

I like the idea for Ratchet. very nice.

Nice Ratchet!

Ratchet looks great, and seems the most feasible. The others are cool, but Lazerbeak needs to lose the green. Green and red look like sh!t if they're withing 10 miles of each other, but thats my humble opinion.

Outrider74, you don't celebrate Christmas do you?

Serious note: I'd vote for Steel Hull.

Yeah, but my tree is all red and black! J/K, but that IS part of why I dont like the color combo. X-mas colors look great for X-mas, and thats it.

I gotta tell ya, H&R...I dont much care for the Tidal Wave mold, but those colors do look real nice...

Sweet, i'd buy Ratchet in a second.
