A few months ago, it seemed like everyone was up in arms because not one RID Vehicon could be found on the shelves. Yesterday, I was doing some last minute shopping and peeked in the toy aisles. Most of the TF:Prime and WFC merchandise was cleaned out, which was nice to see. But the only toys I consistently saw left hanging were RID Vehicons. Strange how that works.

I just picked up Devastator on clearance for $32 at Walmart, in Altamonte Springs, FL. I'm pretty disappointed in this figure, I didn't realize they don't transform into the individual robots, I wish I knew that before my purchase even it was at a decent price... debating on whether to return it or not.

Post your duplicate TF toy mold purchases here..... Did you ever like a New mold TF toy so much. that you felt the need to buy duplicates of it. if yes,please post what TF toy you have duplicates of sharing the same mold. Yes,I'll count repaints & retools as duplicates in this thread. because they do use the same mold & the retools are usually extremly minor like only a new head. I just ordered one of JustIToys' third party Masterpiece Prime trailers, and I was wondering what those of you who own one think of it? I know I'm a little late for the party with this thing, but I've wanted one for a long time and didn't plan on ever getting an MP-04, so I figured better late than never. I know it doesn't transform or anything, but how's the quality? Is there any die-cast? Rubber tires? I haven't been able to find any galleries or impressions, even though it's been on the market for a while.

So I've been cruising eBay! for a couple weeks tracking down old Transformer boxes and I happened to noticed a ton of G1 MIBs and MISBs. I'm already aware of some KOs you could order and some floating on eBay!. So...does anyone know if they're making Topspin and Twintwist KOs? I'm seeing a bunch pop up on eBay! lately and in good condition. Anything else someone's noticed?

Although I haven't been the biggest fan of recent Transformer product (Energon and Armada have been very disappointing, IMO), I've been encouraged by the upcoming developments. I like the new concentration on classic G1 characters, especially those who have never really seen toy likenesses like Unicron and Arcee. I may get blasted for this next comment, but I always despised the G1 Hot Rod and Rodimus Prime. Although the character(s) looked awesome in the movie, the toys were absolutely horrible. anyone else have problems with this? i just found my jetstorm in one of my tf boxes and all the chrome blue paint on him is flaking off. im pretty sure saving him is not an option. and im not anything of a kitbasher. but at the same time im not worried because i have botcon cyclonus. but then im worried that it might happen to him. anyone else have this problem? the pic isnt that great but i think the paint flaking is visable. if i even touch it itll just all come off. theres prolly a lil collection of this shiney blue crap at the bottom of the box he was in.

As I said in my first post, I sold all my TF toys years ago. I've got nothin', not even my little Seaspray. But now, I want to get back into moderate collecting. I definitely want the Alts, and the Superlink Combiners look to bad@$$ to pass up. But else? Do you 'professional' collectors have any advice? Any 'must-haves' I must have, from the Energon or Armada line? What toys do you guys value the most?
