Hi guys, received jetfire and thundercracker through the post today. They're the first titaniums I've bought and also the first of any size class I've seen in the flesh/metal so I thought I would post a quick review of them. I haven't got any pics but there's nothing I could photograph that isn't already on the net anyway. First things to note are the size of the boxes - bigger than I expected. Also a lot heavier as are the figures - they certainly did use a lot of die-cast on them. The boxes themselves are rather unique to the TF line. Rather than being a generic box with the name and picture changed, the actual colour and design of the box is tailored to the fi…

I've been holding my tongue since the 3" figures came out and I figured someone would have taken the opportunity to detail a standing, non-transforming figure beautifully. Even posing them should have been looked at with better attention. After looking at the Satr Wars and Battlestar Galactica Titanium lines, those vehicles look great, the TF Titaniums on the other hand, they look cheesy. And they are undeserving of my money. 539

Just picked up alt camshaft due to alternator deprivation and, having no expectations whatsoever, find myself quite pleased with him. Prior to this I got both the BT versions of the toy - police version being cool in both modes, blue pearl version being great in alt mode and a lazy effort in bot mode. I have to say that camshaft, as with most alts, is a hell of a lot more user friendly than the BTs to transform. My impressions after reversing the legs and shoulders are: Alt mode - cool license plate + engine, but that's about it for the features. CAn't say I like the colour much but it's not as bad as I expected. There's the slightest trace of metal flake in the grey …

Ok. We know some LoC figures are getting redeco'd for the Classics line. So, with the redeco floodgate open and with it quite likely that the TF CLASSICS line will probably stretch out past the movie line and up until the launch of Heroes (albeit without many availible designers to develop new molds towards the end), I expect a few waves of repaints. Off the top of my head, Cybertron Blurr, Energon Soundwave and Downshift seem like plausible redecos that wouldn't take much design work. I could see an Omega Supreme G1 redeco ala Energon Unicron if Hasbro is looking to fill a few shelves. I could readily see Red alert Cybertron Defense as Perceptor, following th…
