Why do the 3" Titaniums have such horrible detail?

Recommended Posts

The only one I am interested in is Bumblebee, and I think thats because he hasn't had a decent toy...ever. Classics will change that, though. :)

Bumblebee is awesome. And of course you have to find the one with the best paint apps (like that wasn't a NIGHTMARISH issue for the HoC figures though). 20th Prime is great, so are Alt Smokescreen and Jazz, Sideswipe is kinda meh though. BW Megs is awesome, BW Primal is all right.

That's true. The HoCs were pretty bad too. Except my Devastator.

Walmart here finally got restocked and with it tons of Starwars/ 3"TF Titaniums and most of the recent SWTFs. All pretty much meh but I looked through em and found they had Unicron, and BWs Megatron. I went with Unicron why staying way the hell from everything else. For a 3" non transforming figure I was pleasently surprised by this one. Articulation isn't exactly amazing but he has a lot more than I was ever expecting. Paint aps/details aren't half bad either. A really nice interpretation of an epic character. I may actually shell out for BWs Megatron soon. :thumb

As for the SWTFs. Heh heh I'm no where near that desperate for a new TF. :tflaugh

Every time I see those, I always *think* I'm excited. It's Transformers. I like Transformers. It's Star Wars. I like Star Wars. And then I remember.

well, to me these are more like little figures that the Japanese sells alot, they're not meant to have too many poseablity, 6" guys, on the other hand, are. I found bumble bee the other day, and I regret not getting it now... :tfsad

You should regret it. He's cool. *might be my next necklace* :tftongue

I haven't bought any of the 3" Titanium figs yet, savin munny for MP Starscream... :D

That's what I sholud be doing. I want him alot more than any thing else.

I think the only "problem" is that these guys were designed to be viewed straight on - not from top down. When I sit and view my display, they look great. When I stand up and look down on them, they look squatty.

The little Titanium figures are cool. I admit that the packaging is half the draw to them, but I end up throwing that away anyway. I wish all the stands had the peg, because that makes them better, IMO. I also hope they do more ships. The "Ark" is cool, but having the Nemesis would be nice too.

I think the KT figures are done better.

YES.

But I like most of the 3" too.
