  1. As is custom in movie trailer releases of the last few years, an international version (or versions) was released simultaneously with today's US Transformers: Bumblebee trailer. This version posted by UIP Singapore has a few lines and scenes unique to it - and is fully titled in English for ease of understanding. Keep reading to see!
  2. Thanks once again to Rob Springer of Zone Base and Radio Free Cybertron for hooking us up with more Walgreens info! His source - who we'll call MB3 - has once again given us some screengrabs showing an upcoming Generations exclusive. This time, it looks like we'll be getting a Siege Deluxe Ratchet, presumably from the Ironhide mold! Also, Walgreens has so far kept Prime Wars pricing in their internal records of Siege. Keep reading for details!
  3. We'll admit: of the social media platforms, we tend to use Instagram the least, perhaps partly out of resentment that this is not in fact the name of a S'mores delivery service. (We have all missed out.) But when we went to look for the original source of the Q&A about War For Cybertron: Siege Leader Class Ultra Magnus reposted by TFW2005... we couldn't find it. But! We did come across a different Q&A slide that we previously hadn't seen anywhere else, hinting at the possibility of another Titan-class figure for 2019! Keep reading for more details on all of the above.
  4. The official Transformers Facebook page has posted images of the upcoming MPM-7 Movie Masterpiece Bumblebee as seen in Bumblebee: The Movie! Sporting over 25 points of articulation and over one hundred-fifty deco operations, the figure is said to be coming soon to online retailer Amazon. The word "exclusive" was not used, but no other retailers are mentioned to be carrying the Hasbro release of the figure. Keep reading to see the announcement and the photos, mirrored here for convenience!
  5. The just-announced Transformers Historia, Chris McFeely's history of the IDW Transformers comic universe, now has a cover! Mistakenly credited to Kei Zama in the PREVIEWSworld listing, Sara Pitre-Durocher has posted her cover to the book - and it's a great one.
  6. Retailer Toypanic has posted an interesting pair of really long-term preorders this morning: September 2019 will bring us a The Real Ghostbusters-themed reissue of MP-10 Optimus Prime (...what? Just: what!?) along with an Encore set of Cassettes featuring Frenzy along with the last two unreissued combiner tapes: Graphy and Noise, who form Decibel! Both are listed as "Exhibition Limited," so odds are good these are meant to be some kind of Japanese convention next year. Keep reading for more!
  7. TFWiki contributor, TF Radio Network alum, and creator of the popular YouTube series Transformers: The Basics Chris McFeely has announced this morning that he will be the writer for Transformers Historia, an official IDW publication coming in December to examine and commemorate the 13 years of IDW's Transformers comics universe. Keep reading for details!
  8. Retailer Argos will once again be serving as the United Kingdom's hookup for the figures which are Target exclusives in the USA. In this case, the new Bumblebee: The Movie remold of Titans Return Leader class Soundwave, and the three-pack of "cassettes" packed with a 1-Step Changer Bumblebee! Keep reading for official photos, and click through to the Argos page for Soundwave for a turnaround video displaying a 360 shot of all three modes!
  9. The Official Hasbro YouTube has just posted "Allspark," the third 10-minute episode of Transformers Cyberverse! From the episode description: "In Episode 3 of 'Transformers Cyberverse,' while searching his memories to understand the Allspark, Bumblebee makes a more important discovery -- the memory of his friend, Optimus Prime!" Keep reading to view the episode!
  10. So maybe the opposite of an Autobot isn't a Decepticon after all: if you want to reduce the concept to an abstract and think of the Autobots as cars that shoot guns, you can turn that idea on its head with this new Bumblebee: The Movie Nerf Nitro set. Containing foam cars of Bumblebee, Cliffjumper, and Barricade along with stunt ramps, the part that really makes it a Nerf set (besides the foam cars) is the big, colorful Nerf gun you launch the cars out of. Keep reading for the product description and a link to HasbroToyShop!
  11. The @AlloCine Twitter account has posted that Hasbro will be making an appearance at Comic Con Paris, slated for October 26th-28th! While using a movie Bumblebee GIF (presumably for recognition value), the tweet mainly focuses on Hasbro's toy properties including Star Wars Black Series. There's also mention of exclusives being announced, but until it happens it'll be difficult to tell if those are exclusives for France, or something heretofore completely unknown. (Man, it's nice to bust out "heretofore" for a change.) Keep reading for the original announcement!
  12. While looking at the just-released TakaraTomy stock photography for their first month of Siege releases, RAC noticed something familiar about Ultra Magnus. Not something he'd expect to see on a reasonably G1 Magnus, no, but familiar all the same. And he thinks that he may have a clue as to what the reuse of this mold will look like. Keep reading for idle, clickbaity speculation!
  13. It sure seems like TakaraTomy is working hard to make Lucky Draw color schemes more generally available to collectors. Following up on their Shining Unicron release is this Lucky Draw color scheme for Beast Wars Neo Maximal leader Big Convoy! Due in February 2019 for 8,000 Yen, the photos come to us courtesy of Dengeki Hobby. Keep reading to see!
  14. TakaraTomy Mall has posted official images of February's War For Cybertron Trilogy: Siege releases! SG-01 Firedrive, SG-02 Lionizer, SG-03 Roadhandler & Swindler, SG-04 Sideswipe, SG-05 Autobot Cog, SG-06 Optimus Prime, and SG-07 Ultra Magnus are all looking pretty nice here, and this is one of the better images available so far of Magnus' inner cab robot. Keep reading for the images!
  15. Wizards of the Coast has sent us a press release outlining the first expansion for the Transformers Trading Card Game - and man, it really did expand! The Metroplex theme deck sports the usual oversized character cards for Metroplex's helpers Scamper and Sixgun - but then goes up another size class for Metroplex himself who is 200 millimeters, or nearly 8 inches, in size! Keep reading for the press release along with the official image of the Metroplex theme deck in package!
  16. Blacklai's Toybase has posted a gallery of images of the new Bumblebee: The Movie Nitro-class Energon Igniters! Optimus Prime, Bumblebee, and Barricade all look fairly decent for being kids-line figures with built-in gimmicks. Keep reading for images, and a link back to Blacklai's site where there's also video of the action features!
  17. Loopaza Mega Store has posted to Facebook with a list of February releases from TakaraTomy! Besides likely closing out Power of the Primes with PP-44 Punch/Counterpunch, the first 7 Siege listings are confirmed: Battle masters Firedrive & Lionizer, Micromaster 2-pack Roadhandler & Swindler, Deluxes Sideswipe & Cog, Voyager Optimus Prime, and Leader Ultra Magnus! The prices are comparable to Power of the Primes, likely meaning that the figures will once again be Hasbro-release figures with localization stickers on the packaging. Keep reading for the list, with prices!
  18. TFW2005 reports that the second wave of Transformers: Cyberverse Ultra-class figures has been sighted in New Zealand! Users Inikalord and ssjkazer report that the figures - Shockwave and new character Shadow Striker - have been spotted in The Warehouse stores in Milford and Dunedin. Good luck if you're in the area, and keep reading for selected photos and a link to the original sighting!
  19. Autobase Aichi has posted official images of TakaraTomy's October MetaColle releases! Short for "Metal Collection," the assortment includes G1 Optimus Prime, Bumblebee, Megatron, and a nifty two-sided faction logo piece! Bumblebee & Prime's hand weapons are also shown to be removable. Keep reading for the photos!
  20. TFormers sponsor Robotkingdom has posted an image to Facebook of the upcoming MPM-7 Masterpiece VW Bug Bumblebee! Preorders are slated to begin September 15th, with the figure itself expected midway through October.
  21. Ingenious use of the Brickseek website allowed TFW2005 user Nevermore to find images from upcoming Cyberverse products before a proper listing was posted on the site! Included in this find are what appear to be the entirety of Warrior class Wave 2 - Megatron, Acid Storm, and Windblade - along with Scout class Optimus Prime. Keep reading to see!
  22. Cartoon Network has posted the first two episodes - okay, four 12-minute episodes - of Transformers Cyberverse to their website! Available to US viewers, the site contains both halves of the episodes "Fractured" and "Memory," which will air on September 1st and 8th at a ridiculous hour. Also, via website The Futon Critic, we have descriptions of the first five episodes. Keep reading for a link to the episodes and light SPOILERS.
  23. So you may be familiar with the "Titan Heroes" figures - the shampoo bottle-looking guys that show up at all manner of stores near the holidays. This year Hasbro has improved them a bit, giving us transforming versions for Bumblebee: The Movie. Dubbed Titan Changers, the figures run about $19.97 CAD on Walmart Canada's website, which equates to about $15 USD. Keep reading for official photos of Optimus Prime, Bumblebee, and Shatter!
  24. Singapore-based fan group Planet Iacon has posted some in-hand images of Golden Lagoon Masterpiece Optimus Prime! The figure's alternately vac-metal and dark goldtone plastics look pretty much exactly like all the promotional photos have done to date, so no last-minute deco changes to be reported. But there's also a brief look at the paperwork included with the figure, including a new illustration on the instructions as well as a trading card! Keep reading for the images.
  25. Autobase Aichi has shared images of the collector coin exclusive to Hasbro Asia's release of Shadow Panther! This recolor of MP-34 Cheetor is due to be released this month - so realistically, within the next week - and we now know that it includes a coin as so many of the figures for non-Japanese Asian territories do. Keep reading for images of both the coin and the packaging!
