  1. Radio Free Cybertron's own diecast has been hitting the dealer room at TFCon Chicago 2018 pretty hard this morning! He's got a ton of photos of various third-party manufacturers' displays, and there's quite a few testshots of upcoming products on hand. Keep reading to see a gallery of mirrored images with nearly sixty shots of new 3P products!
  2. Looks like it's convention weekend with TFCon Chicago, Comic-Con Paris, and MCM London Comic-Con all happening at once. From Twitter user Rotorstorm, aka @SamHyland271, we've found images of the BotBots display at MCM London! We love these little guys, so we're happy to see more images of them so soon after the announcement. Keep reading to see!
  3. Twitter accounts @20thCenturyToys and @MarvelPlanet have posted images from the Comic-Con Paris 2018 Hasbro Panel! Besides Leader class Jetfire, who we learned about yesterday, the panel also showed off a Voyager Optimus Prime who is said to be compatible with Jetfire as well as a Voyager class Bonecrusher from the first Transformers film! Keep reading to see the images.
  4. One of the things RAC prides himself on is being able to get the essence of the story into the headline - but sometimes that makes the actual body of the story more difficult to write without getting super-repetitive. What we can add to what's above is that the photos of the Hasbro Asia collector coin come to us courtesy of site sponsor Robotkingdom! Keep reading to see the coin as well as package images for the impending Masterpiece release.
  5. Blacklai's toybase has posted a gallery of images of the new Bumblebee: The Movie BB-02 Legendary Optimus Prime! This figure is based on the popular Transformers: Age of Extinction Voyager Evasion Mode Optimus Prime figure - but is much larger and fancier. Keep reading to see the images mirrored here and to get a link back to Blacklai's site!
  6. Amazon has restocked the previously-undersupplied Generations Deluxe Punch-Counterpunch figure! As of this writing it's in-stock and available to order, so if you want another shot at this excellent update of the original G1 figure, keep reading for a link!
  7. Last Sunday in Japan, the new anime SSSS Gridman debuted, animated by Studio TRIGGER of Darling in the Franxx and Kill La Kill fame. The series is based on the Tsuburaya Productions series Lightning Superman Gridman, which was the source of the footage used in Superhuman Samurai Syber-Squad(which probably has more than a little to do with the "SSSS" in the title) ...why are you reading that here, you ask? Because one or more people on the SSSSG production crew really likes their Transformers. With an initially appropriate focus on the Shattered Glass universe. Keep reading for some visuals!
  8. Yesterday, we posted an image that was found on the South African retail website Toy Adventures. As the art was not immediately familiar to us, we assumed (despite the art style not really being too similar) that this was promotional art for Siege, of an as-yet unknown character. This is not the case: the image seems to be a color version of concept art by artist Marcelo Matere for an early take on Titans Return Sovereign, the Titan Master partner of Alpha Trion. Keep reading for more details.
  9. South African retailer Toy Adventures had a couple of interesting banners for their Transformers and Generations sections today, displaying what appears to be official artwork for a character that, at present, we can't identify. We think he's probably a Micromaster, because that circle on the chest would make a great place for a small screw, but literally all we have at present is the image. Keep reading for some speculation, and the images!
  10. So it's not a particularly large or detailed image, unsurprisingly - but our first color shot of Legends series LG-EX Big Powered comes from the TakaraTomy Mall website. Used briefly in a thumbnail, it was then picked up by Autobase Aichi. Keep reading to see the first color shot of these likely to be Japan-exclusive remolds of Sky Shadow (Dai Atlas), Misfire (Sonic Bomber), and Twin Twist(Road Fire)!
  11. The good folks over at Unicron.com, keepers of the Transformers Fan Database (TFDb), have posted an image from the impressive NYCC 2018 display put on by Hasbro to show off the Siege Decepticons: a tiny clear yellow plastic Kremzeek figure, said to be about the size of a thumbnail! Is this a bonus to be included somewhere in the Siege line, or just a cool decoration waiting for whoever spotted it first? Keep reading for the image, mirrored here for convenience!
  12. Thanks to diecast of Radio Free Cybertron, we've got photos from the Hasbro display at NYCC 2018! Besides the already revealed Decepticons on display - Megatron, Starscream, Soundwave, Shockwave, Refractor - we've also got newcomers Skytread(AKA Flywheels, Brunt (the Decepticon Weaponizer and G1 component of Trypticon), and lastly Ravage & Laserbeak! Also a good shot of Soundwave in his third "lamppost" mode! Keep reading to see the images.
  13. Twitter user @tommypapers35 has posted images from the Hasbro presentation at NYCC 2018 showing off a preview of Siege Titan-Class Omega Supreme! There's not much mistaking what that tank could be, even in grayscale. Hopefully we'll learn more at Toy Fair 2019, but for now keep reading to see the images!
  14. IGN has posted an article with official Hasbro images of the Siege Decepticons! Included are Voyager Megatron, Soundwave, & Starscream, Leader Shockwave, and the figure currently known as Refraktor, but probably best remembered by fans as the G1 camerabot, Reflector! Keep reading to see the images.
  15. Last night, we got our first look at Studio Series Drift with the promise that he would be appearing during NYCC 2018 for preorder on Entertainment Earth. I probably don't need to tell you where the link within this story goes, then! Click through for a link to preorder Studio Series Drift and his three Baby Dinobots, priced at $26.99 USD with a ship date of February 2019!
  16. Thanks to tfwiki rep @callykarishokka and Anthony Brucale of @TFU_INFO, Twitter is abuzz with photos of Hasbro's NYCC 2018 display! Most notable are new Cyberverse figures - including a Soundwave with the BEST action feature - as well as art of the Generations Siege Decepticons and a solo portrait of Megatron! And, uh, both images feature something fairly significant that backs up our Titan speculation from the day before yesterday. Keep reading for mirrored images and a link to video of that Soundwave!
  17. Loopaza Mega Store has posted some early listings for TakaraTomy's March 2018 Siege releases! Within we find some probable clues as to what we'll see at NYCC 2018 tomorrow, most notably Voyager Megatron and Leader-class Shockwave. Also confirmed here is Deluxe Skytread, previously known as the Duocon Flywheels! Keep reading for the listing with pricing.
  18. Yesterday, we looked at RAC's picks for what Siege stuff he thinks we could see at New York Comic-Con at the other end of the week. And he mentioned that we're expecting another Titan Chunk to follow in the single footstep of Trypticon's leg (and Divebomb's wings). But, who will be the next Titan, and if they are shown off, what part would we see? For the first time in years we have no idea. But we can speculate baselessly, because that's fun! Keep reading for a thinkpiece. ...okay, a piece, at least.
  19. It's nearly time for NYCC 2018, and we've got questions. And hopes! And expectations. We've seen a pretty good piece of Siege so far, but there's more to be seen - like Decepticons - and we've recently had a new Titan teased as well. What do we know of what's coming, and how likely do we think seeing any given figure is to be shown? Keep reading to find out.
  20. As Hasbro and Paramount ask that we all #JoinTheBuzz, the Official Transformers Instagram gets into the act with some test shot images of Studio Series Deluxe Dropkick! Sporting a helicopter alt-mode in this form, Dropkick features a lot of clear plastic in the torso region. Keep reading to see the image!
  21. Yes, you read that right: Dengeki Hobby is posting images from the 58th Annual All-Japan Hobby Show 2018, where TakaraTomy has shown off the first images of Legends Series LG-EX Big Powered. It looks as though Dai Atlas will be based on the Titans Return Leader Sky Shadow mold, Sonic Bomber will be based on Deluxe Misfire, and Roadfire will be based on Deluxe Twin Twist. The three will combine into the large thingy on display here. Keep reading for the images, along with MPM-7 Bumblebee and another glance at Siege!
  22. Autobase Aichi and Weibo regular NOTRAB have reported on what appears to be a new Transformers exclusive: JD Red Knight, a bright red delivery truck for Chinese online retailer JD.com. It uses a lightly retooled version of the Age of Extinction Voyager Galvatron mold, which is really quite good, especially when you consider it's a shellformer wearing its alt-mode as a backpack. The figure also looks to come with some cardboard JD.com shipping boxes. Keep reading for photos!
  23. The ToysRUs(RIP)-exclusive Infernocus set from Transformers: The Last Knight was a neat idea - taking the limbs from Transformers Prime: Beast Hunters Cyberverse Abominus, creating a new torso unit to replace Hun-Gurrr, and making it into the combiner seen briefly in the set piece at the end of the film. Plus, there was a bonus of the one and only figure of the film's villain, Quintessa. Today, artist Ken Christiansen shares his concept art for that pack-in figure. His tagging also suggests that originally Quintessa was meant to be a version of Quintus Prime! Keep reading for the images.
  24. Prime 1 Studio has today posted a preview for a second Transformers: Bumblebee statue: everybody's favorite David Sobolov-voiced G1 Starscream cosplayer, Blitzwing! No details on release are given, but the sculpt - already displaying bright red LED optics - is looking good. Keep reading for the original Facebook post!
