  1. Yeah, looks like they chopped the MP-44 legs and head with Earthrise OP's torso.

  2. I want him for sure. Love the Junkions. I think people just love to complain man. Just don't buy the figure if you don't want it. I am loving all the options they've been putting out.

  3. Wsup TFormers! I'm super stoked to bring you my latest fan mode, the Trash Titan, otherwise known as 3G, the Garbage Goliath Gestalt!. This one is a collaboration between and one of my viewers, RobertH. Robert created the torso and I created the limbs. A very very cool and fun project that you can undertake if you have the bots at home. Requires: 1x Trashmaster, 2x Scraphooks, and 2x Crashbars. Check out the pic and also the vid, if you're interested in seeing the tutorial. Thanks and have a nice day

  4. Forgot about this one. It's Siege Shockwave repainted as Cybertron Brimstone based on the Botcon figure. I had planned to do at least Galactic Man and Energon Sixshot as well and maybe FoC Air Raid and Fireflight but when an actual Galactic Man Shockwave as announced, I put a hold on anything else. I also started to run out of extra money and went back to work and stopped making customs in general all around the same time. I can only post about six pics a post so I'll be posting a few in a row here for you. The rest will be all about the GUOP mold.

  5. It is a surprise we didn't see this already, but a new image out on SNS shows a stock image of Nemesis Prime SS-EX repaint of the Optimus Prime SS-38 coming from Takara TOMY. In addition to the new colors, there are Decepticon logos on the shoulders, but there doesn't appear to be any visible mold changes in the photos. - Read the Full News Story

  7. With the arrival of the Yolopark Optimus Prime AMK PRO figure, I couldn't wait for them to make the cartoon colors versions to take a shot of my very own Sherman Dam Showndown scene. Yolopark sent me their new AMK G1 figures to share with you. They have recreated both of the G1 leaders just in time for the Transformers 40th Anniversary with these 20cm figures that you assemble yourself. - Read the Full News Story

  8. MIP Monday goes back for a look at the other Takara TOMY Transformers 40th Anniversary Missing Link release, the C-02 Convoy Anime Edition action figure. Oddly enough, it was the Walmart Retro Generation 1 reissues that gave us the Optimus Prime without the trailer was due to the original G1 trailer molds being unusable. - Read the Full News Story

  9. I REALLY don't want another one of those shitty Earthrise trailers. I hope this is the last time we ever see that thing again. It is the biggest waste of money ever put in Transformers box to boost the cost. At least with SS86 Grimlock's Wheelie and SS86 Slag's Daniel, those were there to "inflation proof" those figures. They had a little extra budget left and included them while the budget allowed for it. Future releases don't and most likely never will have those pieces as has already been seen in every Grimlock release after so far. And is also most likely the reason for Grimlock being a "package refresh" next year. They're 100% dropping Wheelie from the release and that's why they'll have to update the packaging. And the most likely blue but hopefully teal rumored G2 Grimlock won't have Wheelie either. And Siege Ravage for Bullseye? Seriously? That sucks. At least use Lionizer. I don't know how well Target would've taken their mascot turning into a sword but since they were retooling the head anyway, the tail sword is on that same sprue and could also have been retooled into something a little more family friendly for their mascot. I can't think of what right now but it could've been something. A tape dispenser? A scanning device? I don't know. I just know Siege Ravage sucks. But I guess that missing Ravage from the Takara Decepticon multipack had to go somewhere right? I'm digging the Cybertron Galaxy Force/Animated Elite Guard looking color scheme for G2 Optimus though. I'm just glad it's not the VNR mold again. That mold just isn't really all that good honestly. It's not bad, it's just not as fun as the G2 mold is. But still; no Roller, no energon axe, no extra Ion rifle. Nothing. At this rate, they could've added the whole Centurion drone upgrade kit for free with how much they're saving using both of these molds again. And the Ravage too for that matter.

  10. This is probably one of Hasbro's best ideas that they have ever had. The figure and it's comic, together! Genius! No doubt I will be picking these up, and I hope they decide to continue this line. This is Amazing.

  11. This looks like a cheap KO compared to the originals. The only part that is interesting is the Bluebolt figure

  12. You know, it's almost as if Hasbro, a toy company, has gotten so wrapped up in a postmodern cult ideology, they've forgotten how to give the fans what they want, which is the only reason they exist. Stay in your lane! If I want to be told how much I suck, I'll go to church, but until then, worry more about running your business instead of running your business into the ground at the behest of the Davos crowd.

  14. Thanks! I didn't see that vote. I have added that to the post. I agree it makes sense, as the Ultimate looks different enough from the 106 that it will work better. That and the 106 is rather puny for the job.

He commands the stage and has quickly become the definitive Magnus in my collection. Thanks so much for watching! 19. Wow. Just wow. Energon Megatron looks perfect. Damn does he look good and I can't wait to get him and Galvatron. I really hope they make a bigger one at some point. I have this whole idea linking the mold to Thunderwing and several other crazy ideas so I'm a bit extra hyped for Energon Megs. Snarl looks good. I don't think it's a retool of Rattrap. I rewatched it and they didn't mention it having been a partial either. I mean it looks like it could be since they normally have a very similar transformation and parts layout but there's one major thing being the beast head feet. That's throwing me off. Even the little things like the thighs look different. Bouldercrash and Magneous aren't really doing it for me though. They're "okay" and that's what I rated them as but it's a both a bit of a let down and better than I was expecting. I'm glad that they're not just rocks for alt modes but the vehicles seem just as out of place. I think just maybe random beast like shapes would've been better. More like the Fossilizers or what the cancelled Energon Monsters were possibly going to be. They even say that they're sparkless and not like Cybertronians in any way and that they're more creatures instead. And I still hate the fact that the Junkions have integrated transformations instead of the full partforming the others had since it limits what can be done with them. The torsos on the Junkions just can't combine with anything anymore and it sucks. I don't even bother with that feature of the Junkions but I made and still make giant crazy things with all my Weaponizers, Fossilizers and Modulators though. So I hope they at least learned from the "failure" of the Junkions and made these Rock Lords more combinable. And not just combinable in a single way like the Junkions and Junkasaurus. I mean it seems that that might be the case though as Bouldercrash is going to turn into a weapon. That tells me there's one fully intended way to combine them all and that maybe they won't work quite like the Weaponizers and so on. I'll get them but I don't think I'll be getting multiples of each. Bumblebee I already typed about previously. It looks good. Too much hate. It's not supposed to be 100% anything but a weird mix of two to three different aesthetics. Which it does. Chase being a new mold is surprising. And well, I think we know what's being turned into Lockdown now. Axlegrease was a red herring it seems. The capture claw on the arm reminded me so much of Ratchet's weapon that Lockdown stole. Windblade looks really good. I have every Windblade toy and this one looks good. She seems like she's very solidly build but isn't full of gimmicks. I just wish they'd make her a bit bigger overall so that they can finally do something about getting rid of or better integrating her nose cone and cockpit area and making it so that she doesn't just have arms on the sides of the jet. I can think of a few ways to "fix" all of that. Thundertron is spectacular. He looks like a straight upgrade to his original toy. I'm so glad that he's not some random partial with Lio Convoy or even Silverbolt. Optimus I've already typed about before. Still looks great. Too much hate again. Tigerhawk looks phenomenal. They managed to pull that off as a leader and that's incredible. I'm just not a fan of the brownish color. I get that they wanted to incorporate some Airazor elements but they look out of place. Oh and I don't see his "helmet" for beast mode. Go away Laser Prime. I wonder when they're doing Magnus. Or a proper SG Magnus. I'll even take a SG Prime based on the second toy of him. Hotshot and Jolt I've already typed about as well. The poster art is confusing me though. There's Magmatron and Tidal Wave. We see Tidal Wave combined with Megatron. So that would mean that Tidal Wave is the commander class right? But that would make Magmatron the titan? What? That can't be right. So is Tidal Wave the titan and Magmatron the commander? Magmatron as the commander makes sense but so does a combinable Tidal Wave. I don't want a titan Tidal Wave. I don't want titans in general honestly. Not as big as they're making them. I'd rather have them be smaller but sturdier and with all their little minions as well as have no cost cutting measures. Huge bots are cool but they're never going to be in scale anyway so might as make them more "playable" instead. Cybertron Metroplex being the exception as he can be completely in scale as well as still be playable. It's just that he didn't come with his Minicon. I'm really hoping that Cybertron Menasor is made as a titan soon as he'd be perfect as he's shorter than Metroplex and doesn't have anything like Sparkdrinker so he could fulfill everything I'd want out of the titan class. Only time will tell.

  20. Dan from Toy Galaxy and Thew? Are they sure about that? This is going to be either hilarious or hilariously bad. Thew has gone on record as saying that he's not good live and Dan can mess up pretty amazingly as well as seen in his outtakes. Regardless, I'll be watching lol.

  23. I managed to find the Takara warrior Strong Arm at a local comic shop in box for $15 about a year ago. The shell was super yellowed, thus the price. Like you said, the deco is soo much better than the Hasbro version. I really like this Legacy version though. The addition of a nose makes her feel more in-universe to the Legacy style.

  24. Well that makes more sense. Her name isn't Laser Cycle Jazz, it's just Laser Cycle. That might actually be worse though. It's what she is, not a name. Road Rocket, Road Pig, Jazz and Soundwave are all Laser Cycles. So what's Soundwave's name going to be if they ever get around to making the other Laser Cycle mold and get around to making a toy based on THAT unreleased deco. Laser Cycle 2? I got it! Laser Cycle Too!

  25. Today, Moose will be reviewing the Transformers: Legacy Combiner Menasor. As a combiner, Menasor is dumb. The parts of the whole argue over everything and this slows down the combined forms efficiency. Individually, the Stunticons, for the most part, are fast and can quickly deal out damage to opponents. 26. Well damn. I've been looking for them and everyone selling them seems to think that they're worth a ton. I know they're not but I can't seem to find them for a decent price. I've been looking for years but only on Ebay. It would be funny if I just missed yours when you were having trouble selling them as I only check for them every so often. I managed to get a Sunstreaker for very cheap but people are holding Sideswipe hostage. None of these sell at the prices they have them at but they just won't lower the prices. Just because they sold for that much once to an idiot 7 years ago doesn't mean that the rest of us are going to pay those prices all this time later. Well damn. There's one set currently listed at $1,499.99. Looking at the sold listings it seems there are idiots out there as the lowest sold for $161.19. Another for $166.99 and another for $212.45. That's way to much for the sisters. Especially for molds that are prone to breakage. There's a lot with Sideswipe, Sunstreaker, Universe "Ratchet" and Roulette right now that I just bid on but someone really wants it. I bid them up to over $100 and I would imagine they put quite a bit more down. I just don't want to go any higher especially if Shadow Striker isn't included. Oh and it also comes with Energon Arcee, Energon Energon Strongarm and Cybertron Breakdown for some reason. I could sell those three and Sunstreaker to recoup some of the price but again, no Shadow Striker. Now that I'm reminded I never picked up Universe Ratchet, time to look for him.

  27. Does anyone else find it kind of funny that they managed to get Bombshell before they got Shrapnel? Thinking about this being a retool more, I wonder if it's less likely that we'll get Venom, Barrage and Chopshop now. We got Ransack because there really isn't anything else to do with Kickback other than Shothole. So since Shrapnel and Bombshell already share parts, does that mean that Hasbro won't do the other deluxe Insecticons due to not needing to since they're partials of each other. Or does this make it more likely? Since they saved money on Shrapnel and Bombshell they can afford to make Venom, Barrage and Chopshop as further retools. At least Venom would need new parts regardless and maybe that's why they're trying to save some money here. Chopshop and Barrage could just be straight new head redecos like Ransack was. I just hope that they don't finish the deluxe Insecticons again or they make the rest but the final three will all have new parts whereas Ransack doesn't. It makes me wish they did that abdomen gun thing instead of the wing swords for Ransack like what was originally planned for the mold. Not that it matters since I have that one upgrade that gives Ransack his shield and a new gun but still, the abdomen gun would've been cool too. A full set of clones/SG Insecticons would be nice too. Maybe even Beet-Chit not that that name would make it to shelves without a change even though it doesn't mean anything bad and only just sounds like it.

  28. Seems I took over this thread with my crappy customs lol. Vector Prime is/was a multiversal singularity. So any Vector Prime released will be the same Vector Prime regardless of anything else. However there's only been one Vector Prime anyway though and that's CyberTRON Vector Prime. Well I guess there's been two if you count PotP Metalhawk since the Primemaster that came with him is Vector Prime. The wiki still has them as being the same Vector Prime though. I was literally just thinking about Vector Prime and how he needs a new figure. We need more big Autobots with flying alt modes and he certainly fits the bill. I wonder what they're going to do with Safeguard? Hasbro claimed they don't want to do Battlemasters and Micromasters anymore as they supposedly didn't sell well. No, the Rise of the Beast ones don't count as they should've been out about two years ago. Those seem to be selling well now though regardless of when they were supposed to be on shelves. So maybe they'll circle back around to them to do the Armada and Cybertron Minicons. Swindle, Leader-1, Sparkplug, Drillbit, Jolt and now Safeguard and Clench all need to be done. And we do need new ones. I dug out Armada Jolt, Universe Jolt and even T30 Blazemaster who has a Jolt variant and none of them work well with Hot Shot. The two Minicon Jolts don't peg onto the Minicon peg in Vehicle mode and the peg isn't accessible in robot mode. Blazemaster can't peg onto the Minicon peg either but can at least become a gun for robot mode. Maybe if the hood or the engine had a 5mm port then Blazemaster could plug in as a gun in vehicle mode. Deluxe Optimus Prime is mildly interesting. We've come a long way from the Classics deluxe Optimus Prime mold so it's bound to be way better than that and thankfully won't have the spinning gimmick. Armada Galvatron is a long time coming. I get the CW mold wasn't amazing for Armada Megatron but I really did want Galvatron too. Now we're getting a proper update and I still kind of want a CW Armada Galvatron lol. I hope they finish the trifecta and do Megazarak too. I'll even take a Lucky Draw redeco. Origin Wheeljack is a VOYAGER. Nice. I hope they keep going with these even though there's technically little to no more they can do. Soundwave and Laserbeak? No not the "hidden" mode of the Siege figure, I mean one that only turns into the "lampost". I would hate that so much as I hate having an alt mode that doesn't move on its own other than for small weapons. Blaster and Netflix Soundwave annoy me but I do own all versions. At least Perceptor has his tank mode thing. If these new "rocks" are indeed Weaponizers, I hope they work better than the Junkions. I hate how the torsos don't do anything. I couldn't care less about having a self contained transformation if it means that you lose functionality of the gimmick. I don't even bother messing with the Junkions the same way I did with the Weaponizers, Modulators and Fossilizers. The names don't seem to line up with any Rock Lords either for the most part. Not that they'd need to change the names since Hasbro owns those. They'd only need to make sure not to have them be accurate to the original toys like Velocitron Crasher. Not that I'd know since I never found one let alone the two I wanted. Maybe these are like Rock Lords though and they're really trying to do new (aka old) things. Just going to have to wait and see in two weeks or so when they start leaking from the factories now that they're showing up again in store listings.

  30. Can someone please tell that kid that his shots with those blast effects are and have always been horrible. The composition is bad. Nothing about the layout makes sense. The shots don't looks dynamic. There isn't anything good from his setup yet he uses the exact same one for every single figure. They don't highlight or showcase anything in a meaningful or exciting way. Just so boring and lame.

  32. I hope this is just a very early proof of concept for the weapons since there's nothing else retooled. I don't want Tarn in Bludgeon's colors. I want at least some kind of retooling done to make it look more like the comic designs at the bottom of the post. Tarn is good but just do more than the weapons. Bludgeon deserves more than that. Maybe for Banzaitron but not Bludgeon.

  33. Finally, Earthspark Megatron is here to complete the wave 01 Warrior Class figures from the Earthspark line. I have to say that this figure is just as good if not a little better than the Deluxe Class version of Megatron. Transformation is simple and the weapon gimmick doesn't interfere with the figure at all. There's a surprisingly large amount of articulation, including waist swivel and ankle pivot. I highly recommend this version of Megatron especially if you're passing on the Deluxe Class version.

  35. Nope, still hate it. I don't know why anyone is okay with this. This is literally the epitome of what the vocal part of the fandom seems to loathe about Hasbro in that it's just a lazy release that looks nothing like the original. For going on like two decades now that's been one of the most complained about things from the fandom in regards to the way Hasbro makes Transformers. Yet now people don't mind all of a sudden? Why because they haven't done it in a while? Things like this never used to bother me back when the options were more limited. However now when there's so many molds and most were designed beforehand to be easily retooled into other characters, if not have it planned from the start, does it seem so damn stupid to force a character on a mold that doesn't work for it. There are better options out there to use for Tow-Line. As it is, this might as well be a new character completely as it looks nothing like the original other than the head and the color. I'm not even saying that it has to look 100% like the original either, just somewhat. Use a mold that shares at least some similarities in robot mode and more in alt mode. This is worse than using Kingdom Mirage for Crasher instead of Legacy Dragstrip. At least Mirage bears a slight resemblance to Crasher even if Dragstrip is a near perfect match without retools and would've been perfect with some tweaks to that front scoop to go behind the head. This is like Fun Pub levels of stretch to make this work. Like DotM Megatron from AM Breakdown. Metalhawk from Generations Thunderwing. Slipstream from Prime FE Starscream. Breakdown from 2.0 Sideswipe. General Optimus Prime from T30 Roadbuster. This makes GDO look like good reuses even though people still complain about them. I just seen something with people still complaining about Wheelie from RTS Jazz and Springer from 2010 Tomahawk. This is worse than Knockout from SS86 Jazz. This is worse than Universe 2.0 redecos. Darkwing from Silverbolt. Springer from Cybertron Evac. Blades from Cybertron Evac. Leo Prime from Leobreaker. Stormcloud from Powerglide. The hypocrisy I've been reading regarding this figure is astounding. Which is saying something for fandoms in general and the Transformers one in particular. I think I got it all out of my system now.
