i will definantly get them all. hound and cyclonus were like my 2 favorite characters from g1 and cheetor, well, im a beasts fan and he is my all time favorite, so i have to get him.

Well, I WAS going to get Cyclonus. I suppose I still will, but those are some pretty half assed paint apps. Maybe the japanese version will be a bit nicer?

Pretty nice. I'll probably pick up all three of these guys, for one reason or another.

 

HOUND - Ravage, of course, and because he doesn't have that "Ugh, this again? I don't want to be here" look on his face like Prowl and Octane.

 

CHEETOR - A nice update, and since I never had an original Cheetor this'll be my first. Plus he'll look neat next to 10th Anniversary Primal.

 

CYCLONUS - I personally don't give a crap about paint, so long as it's still the same Transformer underneath. Plus Nightstick looks cool.

 

And there should really be a filter to replace "OMG TEH HENKEI VERSION IZ BETTAR!" with "I'm sorry fellow collectors, but since I take toy collecting a bit too seriously, I'm afraid the domestic releases of these action figures, as wonderful as they are, don't meet my personal standards. Asking them a question won't change their business model, which is different from Takara's and always will be. You're kidding yourself if you think your "confrontation" is anything other than an anonymous whine about toys on the internet.

 

Does anyone really think Cyclonus - or any other less than perfect deco - ended up how it ended up for any reason other than "cost"? It may not be the best case scenario from a fan perspective, but reality doesn't warp itself to accommodate adults who want better kid's toys. Suck it up and move on.

You know...Im still getting Cyclonus for sure, but...I'd be lieing if I said that I wasn't a little disappointed with these new images, compared to the first images we saw from Hasbro (obviously Photoshop'd).
