  1. I actually LIKE the new car mode, and that's the only reason I bought this. I plan on painting it sliver. I transformed him once to see for myself and I may never again. I think the robot is terrible, especially right after Sidearm Sideswipe. I haven't had problems getting any of my sideswipes to stand. The first was a little shaky, but I have multiple transformers with normal feet who are as bad or worse...
  2. I value your reviews, they're a wonderful thing. There is the obvious issue of Bumblebee saturation, and I completely understand why Hasbro does it (although looking at shelves we MAY have finally hit the point where he'll be shelf warming- we'll have to consider again AFTER the movie is out). But how can you be so hard on Leader BB and so kind to this mess? I have both, and except for the size and price point issues on Leader (I really, really wish he was HA sized), IMO he's one of the best BB toys we've gotten (there STILL isn't a perfect one out there, there's something wrong with eac
  3. I was going to wait to get him. I'm not positive if I really want him to begin with, plus the rumor that Takara will be repainting him as a movie masterpiece figure. Then I saw that we're apparently getting a wave 1 case revision later of just BB followed by a wave 2 case of BB and ironhide. I think I'd better grab him now. It kinda sounds like he may be tough to get later.
  4. Didn't watch it, but I understand that it's more stable. But it's just one of those things where the difference is totally lost on 96% of all film goers. We've been watching less stable movies our entire lives and it generally doesn't bother us. Hell, given the current state of multiplexes, I'm happy if the movie is in focus, the sound works and the people next to me aren't carrying on a conversation through the movie. I also heard that these things are being pushed as higher resolution, but then that was disputed as well (I don't remember the specs on that, and it was slightly over my
  5. I mentioned this here recently and I don't think much of anyone took notice. I actually live near a real Imax (45 minutes away)- but I'm so disgusted with what IMAX is doing I wonder if I should stop giving them my money period. If they weren't charging extra for these fake IMAX screens I wouldn't care. But they are.
