is hasbro F*CKING kidding with this cyclonus? what the hell is wrong with them. they couldn't have left the paint apps? really? i cannot get over how completely ridiculous hasbro is. i wish takara would just take them over. GIVE US ACCURATE COLORS FOR ONCE, PLEASE. and for all of you who posted questions like combiner teams and music label soundwave and war within and repaints of alternators, i mean come on, i'm sorry if any of these were your questions, but this is an opportunity that gives the fandom a chance to confront hasbro about their incredibly INFERIOR coloring and actually get something changed, but no, we're going to throw away that chance by asking questions that are a.) easy for them b.) have already been answered and c.) stuff we already have enough of. once again i apologize if i've put down you guys but it's seriously about time we got together and really grilled hasbro about all of this crap ie inaccurate coloring, making a figure into a class size that is way inaccurate like sentinel prime being a deluxe, sh*tty paint applications, and awful distribution.

"Damn, ritchey asked us about accurate colors. The cost of toy production just went down." - Aaron Archer. You :fail at activism.

Asking them a question won't change their business model, which is different from Takara's and always will be. You're kidding yourself if you think your "confrontation" is anything other than an anonymous whine about toys on the internet.

Does anyone really think Cyclonus - or any other less than perfect deco - ended up how it ended up for any reason other than "cost"? It may not be the best case scenario from a fan perspective, but reality doesn't warp itself to accommodate adults who want better kid's toys. Suck it up and move on.

*still really digs Cyclonus just fine as is*

Wow, Cyclonus has three shades of unpainted gray....... that's special

Well, it is the 25th anniversary and all - Hasbro wanted to make the grays extra special :tflaugh

Cyclonus - Not really digging some of the color choices (or lack thereof) they made for him, but he looks alright.

Hound - I still think he's not transformed properly here - mainly in the feet/leg area.

Cheetor - Meh. I was hoping that once I saw him properly transformed I would really like this one - Transmetal Cheetor still wins as best incarnation of the character. Pass.

I'd be with Hobbes, but I'm willing to bet the cost of a few paint apps on the face would not have cost much more, at all. It was probably a deadline thing more than anything.

Dude, why are you so angry? They're toys and have always been toys.

If you like g1 then you should be glad excited that the toycompany made these reissue like

classics/universe 2.0. I for one think it's great, same goes for Animated. What isn't so great

is that I'm not rich :(.

Lighten up, if you want g1 accurate stuff, buy g1 vintage or get some painting/modding skills.

Quit spitting on the forums on how much you hate the toycompany who makes the stuff that

you love (... paradox?).

I didn't think they would make a new Cyclonus but he really looks awesome, I don't care that

much if he isn't more dark blue. I'm really excited about what they will make in the future.

Aren't they almost through the promist list of new classics?

god I love you guys, it's the same thing every time.

Hasbro Releases an innitial image of a toy and everyone's like "OMFG IT'S :awsum !"

Later, Hasbro releases a final product image and it's lacking some of the flair and everyone's like "wow that's :fail , I hate Hasbro!"

Then I buy the toy and love it all the same while people continue to complain about smokestacks and paint apps.

I'm not ready to spew a wall of hate over this (because I honestly don't care), but I'm also not 100% on board with Hobbes. I understand why they cut corners, but a lot of the promotional images Hasbro puts out really cross the line into false advertising and outright deception, which is not cool IMO.

Wow, that's a wall of pointless rage.

Quit trying to speak for the fandom and acting like your opinion is the only one that matters. Please.

:pfx

And there should really be a filter to replace "OMG TEH HENKEI VERSION IZ BETTAR!" with "I'm sorry fellow collectors, but since I take toy collecting a bit too seriously, I'm afraid the domestic releases of these action figures, as wonderful as they are, don't meet my personal standards. As such, I will be purchasing their Japanese versions because I can afford to pay upwards of thrice what my local Wal-Mart will be charging on an imported toy, despite this current economic situation. Good day and have a pleasant tomorrow."

:tflaugh

Also, I'm getting all of these. They all look :awsum, even Cycolonus. It's not as OMG AMAZING as the promotional images were, but it still looks like a really cool update of a prominent G1 character.

Hound and Ravage are both amazing. 'Nuff said.

Cheetor looks much better with properly transformed arms. He may be a tad on the lanky side, but the original version was a bit on the heavy side, so it all works out.

Wow, Cyclonus has three shades of unpainted gray....... that's special

If they used that "silverish" grey (like on the wings) instead of that particuarly "blah" beige grey and a richer purple, I'd be a happy camper.

Pretty nice. I'll probably pick up all three of these guys, for one reason or another.

HOUND - Ravage, of course, and because he doesn't have that "Ugh, this again? I don't want to be here" look on his face like Prowl and Octane.

CHEETOR - A nice update, and since I never had an original Cheetor this'll be my first. Plus he'll look neat next to 10th Anniversary Primal.

CYCLONUS - I personally don't give a crap about paint, so long as it's still the same Transformer underneath. Plus Nightstick looks cool.

Everyone has things that are important to them. Paint isn't important to you, so apparently you think it shouldn't be important to anyone else.
