nice for an auto transform it only seems to be a case of pushing the cars front wings in to make the arms pop out and the chest collapse and maybe make the head pop up so its not taking away any of the fun and given how in the BT line arms often posed an issue (Grim, wheel jack im looking at you) this might be a very cool alternative

Nice, but I hope it's not as "sticky" as some of the automorph crap that was in some of the movie toys. Incidently, when are they going to show us some pics of "Vibrant Red" version?

Seems a bit small though. Judging from the person's hands, it looks a bit smaller than an Alt/BT. Just as I thought he would. I wonder how much weight is added to the joints for the automorphing?

It's 1:32 scale.

As it happens, this is the scale which Takara originally wanted to use for BT, but Hasbro didn't agree, as they felt 1:24 would sell better in the US.

Is it just me or does it look influenced by the movie?

Looks a little small for 50$ a pop..

I may have to cancel my preorder. I could get around 6 animated deluxes for the price of one of these.

I really, really hope that thing is being held by someone who is about 7ft tall... :argh

To have that much detail and features in such a small package is amazing. But do I have $50 bucks to spend? No not for a toy. I would do it for $20. BTW I think Hasbro needs to rethink altinators and redo the line at 1:32 scale. I would have loved my smokescreen and sideswipe to be that size...
