3 months and zero progress... I think if this reaches October I'm just going to ask the mods to lock this thread and give up.

Even in PM and email I am beginning to feel guilty for asking for any kind up updates and I'm absolutely not the one who should be apologizing at all.

I appreciate DLP's effort but that's all this is, an attempt. With zero results.

I am profusely sorry, Hunter. It hasn't been zero progress, but it hasn't been significant enough for major updates.

I am working on it right now, despite my current snag with being unable to find the flat Fusion I need; but I think I've got an idea to get around it--gonna require me to do some masking and brush painting.

I'm doing some contour work on the body, and will likely be able to start spraying the car body parts tonight.

At long last, the painting has begun! I still need to hit the parts with another coat or two, but I think it's looking good. :)

Alrighty. I still have to do the robot parts and then work on details, but I thought you'd like to see the car body (mostly) in one piece! :D

The engine will eventually be (glossy?) black, with silver header pipes.

First pic is with the flash.

And without the flash, to show off the glossy shine! :D

Okay, I'm officially excited again!

And just for reference, here are pics of what the Shooting Star (Racer X's car) looks like and my own "Lockdown-Digipaint"

Meanwhile, Deathmarch is also making progress redoing Taejo from TFA Jazz and is almost done.

I must have lucked out with two the most talented (if slowest RAR!) Kitbashers in the community!

First Car pics:

Okay Plumper is officially my favorite Kitbasher ever...
