It looks like Hasbro were trying to repaint Ratchet in movie colours but massively stuffed up and made him yellow instead of green. Green would still look bad on this mould mind you, but at least the proper movie colours would've been more justifiable.

Well...I guess the color scheme isn't THAT horrible...what bugs me is the dumb decision to pack in two Legends scale figures. I guess the whole "Ratchet fixes up the two battling 'bots" theme is a neat gimmick but they are so faaa-reakin' out of scale it's silly! They should have done a versus pack and put in a Deluxe Decepticon repaint for him to fight. Maybe Rescue Ratchet versus Stealth Soundwave (Soundblaster homage).

If they had done this with a Buzzsaw repaint of Laserbeak people would have bought it just for that. It's a really good idea.

 

What we got though is....just bad.

Did they get rid of the claw-things? I don't see the claw-things.

I don't like this figure. I got it, I tried it, put him with 2pack Megs and StarScream on the "to be sold" pile.

I picked the normal TFA-Ratchett up today on a whim. Actually because I dont really want any repaints - so TFA will be my Ratchett and CL-Uni will be my Ironhide. :clap
