Heh, I just realized that since MP/20th Optimus is ~1:28 scale that displaying him with the Alternity's is about the same level of "out-of-scaleness" as displaying him with the BT/Alts.

 

In alt mode, yes, but not in bot mode. One of the cool things about the Alts/MP's is that they weren't always in scale with one another's alt modes, but the bot modes were almost perfect together.

But yeah, these will look awesome transformed with MP prime and the Seeker jets.

I'm all for this, but I'll be holding off for a little bit longer before placing my order. Gotta decide which one I want more, and to see if this will actually catch on as a new line or not. I dig the car though, and was considering getting one when they come out stateside....until gas prices went up. :tfmad

These may end up wowing me, but I'm not all that thrilled with the size:price ratio. The DIECASTZOMG factor isn't enough to warrant the price premium in my eyes.

 

I'm just glad BBTS has their no-hassle cancel policy.

Instead of people whining about the car or that it's Prime, they should be more worried about it being diecast and overseas only. Or that the line is called "Alternity."

From the schedule posted in the other thread, it looks like they're reserving three months to market this guy - I'm still not convinced that this isn't just a one-off, but it could be part of a slow roll out to see if the concept has viability (although, my impression is that BT started pretty strong before fizzling out...).
