Japanese on-line retailer BO-YA has placed product listings with descriptions for TakaraTomy's Transformers Alternity Nissan GT-R Convoy Vibrant Red and Ultimate Silver confirming this figure is part of a new series that will be a smaller 1/32 scale model with an auto-transformation mechanism and contain die-cast parts just like the 1/24 scale Binaltech series.

Im not great at scale. Is the new scale the same as roughly a deluxe movie/classics car bot? Regardless, this confirms for me that Takara are not interested at all in the animated line, which, from a toy point of view, I wholeheartedly understand.

This isnt neccesarily true, as maybe its a license thing as of now. But dont think it wont come in a later time. PLUS, isnt the Animated line in all country's, possibly even Japan. (I know its in China, where Takara Tomy makes toys)

 

But on the Alternity line, i think this is a GREAT line. New molds, with DIE CAST, and 1/32 scale is fine by me. Cool!
