'Revenge of the Fallen' might actually mean...

Recommended Posts

Considering how married Bay seems to TF mythos...

It's quite likely "The Fallen" refers to a character or plot that Bay made up himself over a long bathroom break a few weeks back.

Why oh why would Jetfire / Skyfire b a con? I could see him being undercover with the cons. But i doubt Hasbro would let them turn a charater thats been a bot through A/E/C into a badie. wud jus confuse the kiddies

Kids that watched A/E/C are but a tiny fraction of the people who saw TF1 last summer.

I seriously doubt flaming robot man is gonna be our villian for this movie .. he's a pretty obscure refferance.. possibly a lame one depending on where you stand with comic only characters. I mean, seriously.. there's plenty of material from the cartoon to work with, why lame it out with this "prince of darkness" bullshot. Part of the movie verse anyway means all the robots need realistic disguises to hide amoungst us.. and that pretty much rules out Planetformers and constantly burning robots.. also part of the goal in mind is to make a movie that can be enjoyable and believeable by pretty much any audience.

Revenge of the Fallen (if thats even going to be the name) is just a subtitle. Maybe mid point, all the dead transformers on earth come back as zombies.. or it could be reffering to all the autobots who were slaughtered on Cybertron.. we simply don't know :tfgrin

"Daddy, why is that black SUV on fire?"

"Daddy, why is that black SUV on fire?"

cause Michael Bay is the director

Earlier at a Transformers Production meeting called by famed Director Michal Bay...

"Ok, guys, I have this Idea! We'll center the movie around this Black SUV... with flames painted on the side, thats on FIRE."

"Flames painted on the side and actually ON fire?"

"Yeah, but that's not the cool part, the flames are grey, but they're on fire too!"

"Wait... the grey flames on the black firey SUV are on fire?"

"That's right."

"And what kind of robot should it change into?"

"Change into a robot? Why would it do that?"

I love it. People are trashing the portrayal of a character that doesn't exist :07laugh

I love it. People are so busy buying into the status quo they can't appreciate a joke. :07laugh
