im sorry. this entire set, is just awful.

 

prime, purple and nonsensical. jazz and goldbug are regular looking autobots with purple insignias. which kind of defeats the whole purpose doesnt it? jazz is not bad himself. but i think goldbug is ugly. to much black, the head doesnt look right, and the car mode doesnt fit with the word "bug" in the name. grimlock as trypticon and starcream as jetfire are the only ones that makes sense, but i dont like them either. and ricco.... should be gold and black. or did they mix him up with goldbug? this is the first set that i thought was a total fail.

 

and its sold out? good god some people have to much money.

 

I agree with 90% of this post. No decepticons, making a self-mockery out of the entire concept behind their year's set, NO DECEPTICONS, very bad paint jobs.

 

Yet another poorly put together BotCon set. This is basically 0-3 here. I now have officially no hope for next years set.

 

Whoever is designing these figures needs to be taken off of the job. Not fired, but moved somewhere else...

Then what would kind of set would you come up with? I do agree that not having more Decepticons in this set is bad and makes you wonder what they were thinking.

Man, I hate how any North American equivalent of Stepper is named "Riccochet". That name is just too generic for a repaint of a character as unique as Jazz, who was one of the few autobots from the first 2 seasons of G1 to not be repainted. Because of that, a repaint of Jazz should be equally unique.

 

I preffer the name Riccochet unless by Stepper they mean he's wearing giant clogs and lives up to the name as a method of attack.. :tfevil

Maybe it's just me, but he reminds me of Slag. The white (would be silver) and red body, black head, silver face, and orange visor gives me a strong Slag vibe.

 

I imagine Megatron and any other Decepticons will be on site con exclusive for people to buy right at the con like Alpha Trion last year or the Megatron from the year before. They're generally Voyager or Ultra figures so he won't be an attendee bonus. Can't wait to see what him and other Decepticons will look like, keep watching eBay I guess.

I'm delighted by how much this set sucks. I feel not even the slightest desire to buy it. If these were regular price. They'd be pegwarmers.

Man, I hope the people stupid enough to buy this crap are sitting around with money to burn in their pockets when I come up with some crap idea and claim "exclusivity" like that's a justification for obscene profit margins.........
