If Hasbro would stick them in Universe packaging and mass release them, then problem solved.

They're good updates, but, you know, $200 a pop.

I'd prefer some head individuality and a few color scheme changes (Ironhide needs more gray) but they're damn close to perfect.

Looks pretty good so far.. although I'm not too keen on the cybertron repaints. Quickmix was a dicey choice, I never really thought the robot mode looked all that good.. Soundwave was neat.. but coloring it as Blaster does not.

 

I get the feeling that if they attempted someone like Shockwave, they'd only pull out that energon mold and slap some new colors on it..

I guess I'd prefer updates of the character, not updates of the toy.

I seem to recall that Ratchet's toon head was just Ironhide's head with a V on it...

 

Speaking as an old school dude, there's no way I could love an Ironhide or Ratchet homage that didn't have the rolley base part.
