Are you referring to the Classics 2.0 figures as being better than the first run? That I can probably agree with for the most part... or are you talking about this Universe line as being better than the Classics Line in general? I ask because I was under the impression that these "Universe" figures _are_ Classics 2.0 :tfhuh

No, he's saying that due to Hasbro's refusal to produce Universe figures of characters appearing in Animated (Prowl notwithstanding), Universe's second wave onward will be filled with no name characters.

 

Which I disagree with completely. There are plenty of characters that can get the Universe/Classics treatment that will make the fandom happy.

Holy crap i just had the biggest geekasm! Those all look awesome! I was skeptical with some of the prototype pics, but now ive seen them in color im sold on every single one! Even Powerglide looks great with color! Who is the red and yellow guy though?

 

This line is so gonna own Animated, infact i think its safe to say this will be one of the best lines ever!

Blaster. Back in G1 he was a boombox, sort of like the Autobot equivalent to Soundwave (tape player with cassette-bot minions).

So they repainted Cyberton Soundwave into Blaster. I know many don't like it, but I think it's awesome :awsum

Cybertron Soundwave's the Soundwave in my A/E/C/Classics collection, so Blaster will be a nice and welcome addition. I may paint Blaster's bird blue though, to homage this guy.

Now if only TT would come out with a Music Label Blaster....

Eh, to each his own. I love Cybertron Soundwave. Animated SW, while he looks way better then I thought he would look, is still a pass for me. To much Animated aesthetic.

I agree 100%. They need the Classics/Universe treatment more then any other characters. I'd say we have a decent chance at getting Ironhide, but unfortunately I doubt we'll get a Ratchet due to the no crossover rule between Animated and Universe.
