Okay, I'm sorry bout the previous joke then.. :P

SMITH IS TOTALLY A ROBOT!

nooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo

ooooo

This thread is FORTY THREE pages??!?!!? Anyway, I think we know the answer by now. I think it does fit with the story. When Professor Sumdak was abducted, Sari tried to run the company (gotta love cartoons. A kid running a robots corporation!!!) Anyway, she didn't have any rights because there's no proof of her existence. No birth certificate, no mother, the Allspark key chose her more than once. Its kinda sad, Sari's character has really grown on me. I bet Prof Sumdak made her name an annacronym (excuse my spelling) like, Sumdak Artificial Robot Intelligence.

I think you mean "acronym." A dictionary is your friend. :)

But yeah, having it as an acronym makes a helluva lot more sense than naming your kid after an article of clothing. (-_-)

I like the fact that Animated writers are trying to be more ethnically inclusive by having main human characters who aren't Caucasian... but if you're going to make them Indian then at least give them some believable Indian names!

It's not as if Anglo-Celtic culture goes around naming children after items of clothing like "dress" or "pants"!! (-_-) As a name for an Indian-American (or is that American-Indian?) child (yeah okay, she's a robot/cyborg but she's meant to resemble someone of Indian descent) then it just reeks of cultural ignorance and insensitivity on the part of the writers.

Shut up, Hornet

So I guess Sari IS totally a robot and stuffs now. I hate the waiting game...

There was a smiley emoticon there to indicate that I wasn't trying to give him a hard time. (>_>)

actually over here in the states we have the some of stupidest naming ideas in the world.

Place Names (my personal peave): Dakota, Sierra, Dallas, Austin, Montana, Georgia

the "we didn't know it was a girl/boy names: Morgan, Tracy, Cris, Stacy

The "we made it up on the spot" names: Plastico, Jassinia, Uniqua

and finally of course our celebrities chilrens names: Apple, Wolfgang, Miley.

you get the idea. I mean really...Plastico? I think his mother just looked out the window of the hospital room and saw the sign for a plastic co. when she named her kid that. anyway all this is irrelevant, I just wanted to rant.
