Not true. Although the movie did retcon the Matrix as a physical object within a holder in Prime's chest. Before the movie, Prime did have the Matrix as a kind of energy form stored in his head (it's since been retconned that the true Matrix is the object in his chest but that it was a closely guarded secret, hence why the Autobots didn't bother to recover the Matrix from his body when they buried his body in space, later prompting the Matrix Quest).

 

 

Shockwave once beheaded Optimus Prime and kept the disembodied head functional so that he could use Prime's Matrix energies to give life to the Constructicons. Prime later passed on that Matrix energy to Buster Witwicky to get it out of Shockwave's hands, preventing Shockwave from using it to create more Decepticons - the next one would've been Jetfire, who was later given life when Prime recovered the Matrix energy from Buster (and who of course ended up being an Autobot instead of a Decepticon as Shockwave had originally intended him to be).

Wow, I recently purchased "First Strike" Movie Prime and now I'm surprised at how similar his bio is to G1 Marvel Comic Prime.

Again, my money is that she's techno-organic like Black Arachnia.

 

Sari and Arcee sound too much alike. And we have Arcee established as an espionage agent whose mind was wiped once to protect a secret.

 

Notice how Ultra Magnus was the only one who gave Optimus the chance to prove himself when he said the Allspark was on earth?

 

My bet is that Ultra Magnus KNEW where the All-Spark was all along and sent Arcee as a "sleeper agent" to watch over Sumdac and the Allspark.

 

Sari doesn't know she's Arcee. And Sumdac doesn't seem capable of building powerful AI.

 

My guess is that Arcee has been undercover as Sumdac's daughter with her memories erased. She's there to guard the Allspark.

 

And similar to how Black Arachnia became techno-organic by scanning a spider, Arcee scanned Sumdac himself to create a techno-organic human altmode.
