I'd like a sentient toilet. If only to torture it daily.

So, at the risk of suffering from the Wrath of KAAAHHHHN Pete...I think I finally got this whole Sari mystery figger'd out.

 

I would just like to see more of "I know I'm just pulling this out of my ass, but..." and less "OMG she's totally a robot I just know it".

 

I'd just like to point out that I started this whole thread based on this "I pulled it out of my ass" argument. I'm surprised honestly that it is still going strong, and has been spawned on other forums.

I think it's questionable to claim that the key always has the same effect on all machines, unless there's a sentient toilet sitting around somewhere as a result of Sari's actions.

I'm not saying that I doubt that Soundwave has a spark... I just had the thought that the writers might have been using a lack of spark-ness to explain his trademark voice and lack of emotion. Just a little thought that seemed cool to me. :)

 

I do also think the writers have this in mind. It's not just Soundwave that is spark-less and powered by the Allspark key. Grimlock is the same, and also has a different-than-normal speech pattern. The voice actor for

Wreck-gar

being

Weird-al Yankovic

and the voice actor for

Blurr

being

the same as G1 Blurr

is a clear indication this will continue. This reasoning also makes me believe that

Omega Supreme comes to being due to the Allspark key too, getting his trademark speech pattern in the process there as well

. Which begs the question what they'll have in store for

the Constructicons
