BTW Blitz, those HP and Torque numbers are at low RPMs. You can't compare car Horsepower/Torque figures to truck figures.

 

18 Wheelers are "only" running around 450 hp but can pull a house. It's all about low end power and gearing. 450 lb-ft @ 2800 is crazy power. A Viper has to hit 5000 RPM to get close to that number.

so yeah 8.1 liter engine and you only get 325 hp @ 4000 rpm and 450 lb-ft @ 2800 rpm thats piss poor given how huge that engine is

 

well as for the "low" hp and torque here's a thought my 80,000 pound 2006 Freightliner Century "only" has 350 hp and "only" 550 on torque and it rolls very easily down the highway at 70 mph. it's not all about hp and torque you have to figure in the gearing also
