I'm a G1 Skids fan, and a G2 TFs fan...I guess I'm the only one who finds Alt Skids to be absolutely perfect the way he is.

anybody else have skids repaints? i am working on my soundwave now. you'll love my laserbeak(i hope) I think ironhide and rathcet would be cool, if i find any more cheap skids i may try that out. i am trying to veer away from simple repaints now, so maybe i'll cut the wind shield away from the roof, so they look more like the G1 toy (with a head of course) i like skids if only because i find tons of them for 10 bucks. kitbash heaven

haha, then you'll love to do the "speaker" mods i am working on now!!!!! to make him actually function as speakers for an mp3 player!

I like Alt Skids. But your Blaster color scheme looks pretty nice to my eye with a nicer color overall than the BT Broadcast did. And the pulse line is a nice touch.

as the title says, this is the many uses of skids, so heres my next victim

 

i used a classics prime head, slightly modded. i dremelled his helmets ears off and attached them to the crown. i also took the ol' rotary tool to an old lego visor, to make soundwave's

 

note the laserbeak is just the cyb. laserbeak, i am scratchbuiding my own, but he will do for now

 

no pics of vehicle mode yet, because some of the paint isnt completely dry. i am also waiting on my reprolabels, and trans. blue paint for the windows.

FTR, I don't mind the slighty goofy paintjob, it's the shape of the actual vehicle I dislike. Which isn't HasTak's fault of course, it's Toyota's.

I'd like to see Ironhide as Toyota Hiace.
