ok well, i have had skids sitting on my shelf, i have transformed him 2x, i hate his stupid flames.

 

I saw a pic of bt blaster, ugh another icky one.

 

so i made my own.

 

i managed to pick up 2 more for 10 bucks a pop, i figure i'll make soundwave while i am at it.

btw i am sure someone has done this allready, i know i had seen a digibash before.

 

tell me what you think.

 

oh and i am waiting on reprolabels, for my autobot insignia for the hood and liscence plate

WOW I love that repaint sooo much! Good freakin' job man. I love Blaster, I have the BT version of him (too heavy to stand up right though :( I honestly think the bot mode is one of the best in the line, mostly based on possablity. I'm flabbergasted buy anyone dissing this that much. I agree the ALT version of Skids has a bad paint job. Too bad we didn't get Blaster instead. Skids is kind of obscure for me, even though he was in the toon a bit. ROCK ON!!! Can't wait to see Soundwave

The title is misleading (since Alternator Optimus Prime is THE worst Alternator of the line) but the repaint is very nice.

Nice job. It's funny how so many G1 characters look so similar, just the colouring setting them apart.

I've gotta get Skids. I hate the look of the vehicle, but the bot mode always looks sweet.

FTR I think BT Skids rocks, because he's A) awesome and B) free of flames and has optional G1 goodness.

Nice job! While I'm not a huge G1 fan, it's an interesting take on Blaster. You could prob. fit a TF tape under his hood in bot mode. ( "Styx Greatest Hits?" :tfhuh )

 

Agreed that Alt Skids has a goofy paintjob. I just got him tho, and he's got a great alt mode, very poseable and manly (robotly?). I'd be happy with just buffing off his crazy graphics for a straight blue paintjob.

 

And I'm afraid I must disagree re/ Alt Prime, he is quite awesome, esp. with some easy mods as described in a Kitbash thread titled "Alt Prime Deserves Not to Suck", or some such.
