Go watch your precious 1986 TF movie.

So some of us liked a friggin' movie that you obviously didn't. Bite some ass.

So, let me see....this seems to be the recipe:

 

1.) Make movie, this will split the fandom into two sides.

 

2.) Positive reviews will appear.

 

3.) Negative reviews will appear.

 

4.) The movie will do insanely well in it's first week, breaking all kinds of records, thereby making the negative opinions seem null and void.

 

5.) Those with the negative opinions will come out of the woodwork and with their last bit of fight, they'll decide to take the low road and include personal attacks for the rest of us, in their reviews.

 

Ah. Got it.

 

We'll just mix in a good amount of Blot, to make it all nice and even too.

Is it the best movie ever? No. Did we expect it to be the best movie ever? I hope not. I never did. I never thought the story was going to be an excellent piece of work (in fact, it makes me more worried about the Star Trek movie set to be released Christmas 2008). What you have to ask yourself is, did you REALLY want to see those boxy designs in CGI glory on the big screen? They would have looked out of place, seriously. Could the designs have been better than what they are? Yes, they could. There's always a better design out there. If there is a sequel, they'll have new designs anyway.

 

Get mature if you want to be taken seriously. Don't attack everyone and everything just because you didn't like what you saw.
