Can transformers transform into this?

Recommended Posts

Movie logic: a Transformer can use any alt mode with the same mass as itself. Bumblebee was the one exception ('76 Camaro & '08 Camaro have different mass) for coolness reasons.

But something to tell..., respecting the matter of keeping the mass, at out sight or in our reallity both real Camaros could weight different, but in what %? For a TF's a little difference on the weight can be distributed in their way, so similar vehicles could be acquired as alt mode, more different mass' couldn't be achieved...., several cars are in a close range of weight, meanwhile a jet or a truck or a tank differ so enough to don't allow to get it...

Who cares what they scan, maybe he could scan a snowcone machine and start launching ICE. :D

yeah i feel if the maass is close enough to theIr "natural forms. so starscream couldnt be a car but maybee a tank or a semi truck - if it had a sufficiently large trailer and utilized the trailer in transformation ala ultra magnus. on the other hand this logic limits what megatron could be. a huge jet maybee

If Screamer couldn't find an airborne Earth disguise, I wonder what he'd choose to be? I'm gonna guess a tank.

Personal belief is that a transformer can scan any from it wants to. Even if it's out of proportion with its environment.

But what are the requirments? Besides size/mass, does it *have* to be metal? Does it *have* to be electrical in some way?

i am new to this

You've got to be careful about combining TR comic book and cartoon logic with '07 movie logic. There are major differences. In the cartoon they didn't scan themselves, Teletran 1 scanned and put everyone back together.

Bumblebee could've compacted himself more in his '76 form.

That was also true in the comic books. Even then that was only because they were all in stasis lock at the time.

minor spoiler if you havent seen it yet

beast wars too. it was always something besides the tfs themselves that changed their altmodes and bodies. they couldnt just be like hey- i feel like being something different today and boom. this was one thing i didnt like bout the movie it was just instant scan and im done. if they could instantally scan a new alt mode , why wouldnt they do so at the end of the film after the battle. being as they are still hiding on earth aand at least half that city had to of seen them transforming/ fighting. say you saw that battle in your town and didnt know what was going on and the government covered it up. then later you see prime on the road. youd be like Blot-theres that semi with the flames on it.

Agree, I was a little bit disgusted when see this on the movie, when I only saw the trailers I thought that the '76 to '07 Camaro conversion, was due S7 destroyed or disassembled him, and after was rebuild to the newer version by Ratchet with the help of their spaceship or the hipotetic version of a sort of movie Teletran...

The method of scanning add agility to the plot (too much) and subtracts lots of originality and consistence..., the consistence that Bay argued to make that new designs...

I would liked to see TF's spaceships (small ones at least) and the "Armaggedon footage" kept stored...
