Can transformers transform into this?

Can Transformers transform into anything?

for example starscreams original transformation was a cybertronian jet so does that mean if he landed on earth and scanned a car could he transform into it or could he only transform into a jet?

Personal belief is that a transformer can scan any from it wants to. Even if it's out of proportion with its environment.

Movie logic: a Transformer can use any alt mode with the same mass as itself. Bumblebee was the one exception ('76 Camaro & '08 Camaro have different mass) for coolness reasons.

Yeah, I don't see Frenzy turning into a tank in alt mode.

Unless it was a toy tank

I agree with you - I think when it comes to Transformers, and particularly in Bumblebee's case, the mass doesn't have to be perfect, just close, within a certain degree. As long as it's not like a M1 Abrams Tank then to a Honda Civic then to a 747 Jumbo Jet, then I think they can fudge the mass - with parts compression (like Frenzy) and just shifitng space between their parts.

FYI this isn't my opinion -- this is the logic the movie dudes used when they were determining this stuff. Just so you know what they were thinking.

Of course. I know.

Just stating how I was looking at it - even in BB's case.

And you're Frenzy comment is awesome! LOL. :07laugh
