I think I have some catching up to do :tdown

Wow, I just took some pics tonight of my Optimii Prime to post, and I just saw this thread now!

Here are mine, FWIW, large-ish pic:

Just realized I forgot to put my teeny little Cybertron Prime and this transforming OP pen I have in there. I got the G1 Prime back in 84, and the rest are less than 3 years old. On a bit of a roll, I am!

These are just my Primes - other than CD-ROM Convobat I didn't include any of my Optimus Primals or other BW Convoys in this shot.

Damn, some of you guys are just nuts. I mean that in the good, gee-I-wish-I-were-nuts-like-that way. :tfgrin (BTW, TF smilies are hard to distinguish!)

So, how many versions Optimus Prime *were* there up to now? No need to count the little stuff like keychains and die-cast statues, I just mean transforming and/or poseable figures. I recall an issue of Toyfare Magazine that compared GI Joe to Transformers, and the various releases of OP to those of Snake Eyes, each being the most-reproduced character in his respective universe. Can't remember the numbers, but I think Snake Eyes had the most versions out there.

I feel bad for Cybertron/Galaxy Force Optimus Prime, he is always getting mistransformed! Damned US instructions and their lies!

Oh well, I should probably take my pictures now..

I may just do that. :thumb
