a while back i found a old pic -not really old pic but still- and now i can't find it b/c the old site its gone.

 

it kinda looks like something out of a marvel comic of Optimus Prime and Megatron with Prime seating in a chair -some bot behind him who i have no idea who he is- and Megs is standing beside him with his arm on primes shoulder. Prime is holding out his hand. Both have cloaks on Primes purple and Megs is red -weird- :wtf

 

thats all i can remember at the moment i'd been looking around and got tired of finding no resolts figured i'd come here since some of u are more fimilar with marvel -if its from marvel

I'll see if I can find it, I used to have it. It's of the Autocons. Where the Autobots and Decepticons are one group of Cybertronians. It was like a "what if" image. And the guy in the back is Blaster if I remember right.

That wasn't from Marvel. It was from the Japanese manga and was illustrated by Yoshioka Eiji (å‰å²¡è‹±å—£). You can find it on page 95 of Transformers Generations. He also did the box art for Hybrid Style Convoy black version.

that's how Optimus Prime and Megatron started off in the beginning according to the movie prequel comics ;) It was later on when Megatron became corrupted with greed for the AllSpark that he and other Transformer separatists formed the Decepticon faction and betrayed the Autobots - hence why the Decepticons are referred to as "traitors" in the prequel

 

i find it odd that megs wears a red cape while prime wears a purple cape

Look at the colors of Prime's "blue" parts - the "purple" is either old color separation version of dark blue, or Prime is red and purple. Either way, his cape matches the hue of his legs, head, and hands, even if it's a shade or three lighter over most of it.

i don't think it's supposed to be blue, maybe a faded out black, notice meg's hands and waist is the same color.

It's just a crossover of color. Two reasons - it's part of the unification of both Bot and Con, & if Prime were wearing red, it wouldn't stand out as much as a purple one, same for Megs - the red cape stands out better against his colors.

That pic should have Megatron sitting and Optimus Prime standing leaning over.
