Hmmm. transformer reproduction 101.

transformers can't reproduce.they do have specific genders(male,female),but other than that thay are machines and not capable of having sex.but i guess the reason you mention it,is that reproduction,like breathing is a human function.but given the replies,seem to have acquire that function in their own way or rather the way given to them.

ummm.... read mtmte issue 8 on transformers somethin or other andit says they have another way that waas lost with time for reproduction so who knows,

This isn't a dumb discussion, or else it wouldn't have so many people discussing it. It's fun to consider the possibilities.

 

 

 

It only makes sense that they could reproduce. All living things reproduce, so must TFs. Proof? Wheelie is a boy. He must have been 'born' at some point. His parents shoulda used some kinda engergon condom, but thats another argument for another thread. Quickswitch was referred to as Sixshot's son. On Lithone (planet shown being eaten in tftm) there were kids running around. Hotrod and Sunstreaker/Sideswipe are clearly much younger than Kup or Ironhide. So there ya go.

 

I'd guess its some kind of spark meld, like a little piece of each 'parents' spark would come off and they'd combine to make a new spark. A body would be built and there ya go. A tf child. But it must be hugely inefficient, or else so many wouldnt have been simply built. Instead of like the Stunticons and Arielbots who were young adults from conception, a procreated tf would have to start out as a kid, and 'grow'. Eventually Wheelie would outgrow his body, and take on a new one. Hotrod and Alpha Trion are examples that tf's clearly age. You see the process with Alpha.

 

As to sex for pleasure, why not? A reproductive function and a pleasure function might work differently. For a pleasureable experience, the male would just take some kind of cable or something and plug into the female. Just like two computers sharing info over the internet, mutual pleasure signals would be exchanged, so it would be a bonding experience. Like any free thinking beings, what one finds pleasureable might not be well recieved in the other, so it might not be so good for both all the time.

 

And I'm not EVEN getting into that! I don't have time for a thread like "does Arcee like to be spanked?" or anything of the sort....

i fairly new to transformers and could be wrong,but aren't they robots,mechanically made and there fore can't reproduce.but as stated before they do have specfic genders,which is unrelated to sex.but this would be for another topic discussion.
