Man who would have know such an odd topic would have such longevity, it’s a cartoon people…..I really don’t think every little detail was thought out. I just hope we don’t get a thread asking if Transformers excrete. :redface

Actually, a lot of people thought it was an interesting question, Snowman. I didn't have much interest at first, but when I thought about it, it did get me thinking.

Transformers are living things, for all intents and purposes. (in the comics and series.) That alone brings up a lot of questions, in comparison to our way of living and existing. Things we take for grated they may not have, or do much differently.

Transformers breathe through the vents on their bodies. Take a look at your TFs. They all have vents somewhere. When they go under water or out in space they close em up. They can last longer without air than a human. Cybertron and Quintessa both had atmospheres.

Hmmm. transformer reproduction 101.

transformers can't reproduce.they do have specific genders(male, female),but other than that thay are machines and not capable of having sex.but i guess the reason you mention it,is that reproduction, like breathing is a human function.but given the replies, seem to have acquire that function in their own way or rather the way given to them.

I just hope we don’t get a thread asking if Transformers excrete. :redface

well now that you mention it..... :tflaugh

if Cybertron didn't have an atmosphere, it wouldn't exist.

Atmosphere's PROTECT the planet...it would crumble apart, burn, melt, etc...

I agree that Cybertron has an atmosphere (jets can fly, fire can burn, humans can breathe), but where are you getting this?

Mercury doesn't have an atmosphere, and it's not crumbling or melting. It's a lifeless rock, but it has existed for as long as Earth has.

It is true that atmosphere protects a planet from meteors and radiation, though.

Also, in Energon, Cybertron seems to have artificial daylight now.

The surface looks like earth, with a blue sky.

Why artifical? Did I miss some evidence that Cybertron doesn't have a sun in Energon?

This topic is still open? Give it a rest and accept it for what it is. A toy, comic and tv series. Plain and simple.
