farting transformers? check with repungues or one of the seacons in mtmte, it says one is smelly, so the must smell, but it not with me right now

They were close mimicrys of organic life, we'll leave it at that.

Although I'd disagree with them needing to sustain their "organic" parts through conventional organic methods.  Nothing of the sort was ever hinted at through the course of the series.

Except Primal eating a bannana and Tarantulas trying to trap wildlife to eat? Why would he need to eat a gazelle, when there is plenty of Energon in the atmosphere? The organics are such a close replication of true organics that they require oxygen and energy, too...They wouldn't be called "organic" if they weren't organic...Why are we debating this now when its been accepted for almost 10 years?

They could digest organic food to use as an energy source. But that didn't go to say that their entire body processes were organic. Their armor was composed of nano-machines, afterall, not flesh and blood. And those tendencies to behave like the animals they were based off of were also programmed into them upon scanning their alt-modes, they took on the base instincts of those animals as well.

Not quite. The Oracle was its own entity, but it was a "frontend" to Vector Sigma. Think of Vector Sigma as your PC, and the Oracle as Windows/Linux/MacOS/etc. Separate, but linked.

Don't forget the anaconda that was squeezing Cheetor. He said he couldn't breath when it was happening.

Now, on the same sort of subject, soem TF's sweat too. As seen in BW 2nd I believe

I believe they breath (if only from a logic, "IF TF's WERE REAL" standpoint) as i said earlier as a coolant mechanism. If TF's were real that would probably be the case. Since they are not, who knows until DW puts out something definitive either way

alllright now, first off car engines don't rely on air to cool themselves, Air is far to quick to change temperature to provide any sort of cooling, what you guys are thinking of is the radiator. The engine has coolant flowing trough it (water or sometimes antifreeze which is a blend chemicals that is resistant to temperature changes) which passes through the radiator. The radiator has fins, much like a computers heat sync, that spread out the surface area of the heat and allow any air to be drawn through the radiator Via a fan, or to be pushed through it via the car's forward momentum through the air.

Soo now that thats cleared up, if they did breath as a means of cooling, it would mean that they have a coolant system with liquids which may/may not be red and blood colored. But if they did have a coolant system here are much better means of getting O2 into the system.

I don't beleive that BW were organic completly, but did have some organics replicated into them when they were made into alternate forms, If you scanned a rhino you would scan all of it, not just the skin right? so while they may not need to rely on their organic parts, they can if they need to. Another reason cheetor may of said he cant breath or tarantulas eating the gazelle is that they are one with their animal forms, it could simply be them acting out their animal forms behaviors much like in that on episode where they stayed in beast mode to long (forgot the name). You'll also notice that when OP gets bitten in the leg in the third episode that OP is sparks and metal under his skin, not muscle and tissue.

Now you may ask about the inconsistance of why TFs can go into space or water and be fine but still breath air. Well if you couldn't breath in space would you try anyways? I imagine they breath on earth because they can, its a good way of doing whatever they do with it, and use means of internal cooling when they can't breath I.e. space or water.

Hound's mask was most likely for vision purposes and not breathing, like goggles.

Oh and for energon, jetfire was most likely trying to explain to ironhide how to powerlinks in a simplier manner, telling him to do everything the same as him, but in a dumbed down sort of way because we all know...ironhide isn't the brightest TF around.
