You CAN fit a car on the end of the trailer, if you open his legs out. The car sits on the leg units and the nose of the car can fit a little inside, Another car can sit on top.

Also, Im in the process of adding metallic blue/teal details to my Classics Magnus, plus Autobot symbols and G1 missiles to the armour.

Anyone else?

If you want to save money on the missiles you could always make a couple Jazz styled figs out of Cl Prowl like I did. I need to get a set of metric drill bits so I can put the launchers on the sides of the trailer in the front.

Scout class figs can almost in, and Legends Hound if you put him in backwards can fit totally by sliding vertically in vehicle mode, and on his knees in bot mode.

Thanks I've fixed his right shoulder now too. Just a small drop of super glue, and then rotate it for 15-20 minutes, and this is what you get.

Personally I can't stand that Fansproject armor. for a number of reasons, the foremost of which is the trailer isn't functional. It can't hold cars, it can't pivot on the hitch like a real trailer would. They spent so much time on the armor mode, that they completely sacrificed the functionality of the trailer. I'm glad I built my own armor. IF I could mass produce it, I would.

We get it, you hate the fansproject armor; if you could, you'd mass produce yours because it's so much better. We don't need a thread locked because people don't agree with you, not saying you're wrong, just giving a heads up.

Nice job, it's nice to see that the arm can hold that gun with only some slight help. :thumb

First of all, I want to say that Rodimus VTS's customs on Classic UM looks really sharp. It's an improvement over the original product.

Second, I'm going to side with Tramp on this one. It's not just that the Fansproject armor is just another puzzleformer, but a weak one, at that. Puzzleformers lacks the intricacies of a TF that doesn't need multiple parts to be disassembled only to be reassembled in Lego like fashion, but in the past, various puzzle formers had proven to be the exception (G1 Omega Supreme and Beast Wars Neo Magmatron) where both the parts are used in their either modes are functional (Omega Supreme's rocket base and Magmatron's beast components), but you have some real puzzleformer stinkers, too, like RID Optimus Prime, where the pieces are put together into "alt modes" that are there because "Hasbro said so".

The Fansproject trailer is pretty much a bunch of armor pieces for a repainted Classic Optimus Prime that can be taken apart and put together like a jigsaw puzzle in a form of a "trailer". For $70, that's a rip off. You might as well go to Wal-Mart and buy a cheapy box trailer from some toy, make up a bunch of custom made pieces for your repainted Classics Optimus Prime and throw those pieces into the trailer and shut the doors when you want to "transform" it into its "alt mode".

I think the Fansproject trailer should have been better, that's all - especially for the price you have to pay for it.

Thanks SM I'm glad you like the repaint of CL Magnus. However as far as the FP armor I'm really enjoying it. It is actually very well built.

Agree'd. I've had mine for almost a month now and I love it very much. I don't think you can really comment on this set until you've really had one in your hands. pictures don't even do it enough justice. And besides, it's 100% better than Hasbro/Takara has offered so far.

You never know it might even encourage Has/Tak to make their own version and re-release Magnus further down the line

After trying to tighten the right elbow it didn't stay tight so I opened it up and found that the glue messed up his clicker in the elbow so I switched it out with his left elbow, and while I had the elbow apart I put some glue on the post that goes through the elbow and once dry I put it all back together now it is even better.
