Personally I can't stand that Fansproject armor. for a number of reasons, the foremost of which is the trailer isn't functional. It can't hold cars, it can't pivot on the hitch like a real trailer would. They spent so much time on the armor mode, that they completely sacrificed the functionality of the trailer. I'm glad I built my own armor. IF I could mass produce it, I would.

 

Actually it looks like it might actually be able to hold a scout class figure or 2. I'll let you all know once I get mine. As for the pivot that might be able to be made to work by rounding the hitch point on Magnus.

That shouldn't be too hard of a kitbash to do.

Seibertron.com has a gallery of the Fansprojects armor, and no, that won't work. It also says flat out that it cannot accommodate Autobot cars. Aside from there being hardly any floor, there is hardly any empty space inside it because of that huge cannon. A single Deluxe Bumblebee will fit on top, but that's it. The trailer is really short, not much longer than the cab itself, and the feet lock inside the trailer preventing any turning. Besides, isn't the whole point is to make a trailer that will work without having to modify the robot himself? IF anything, enalrging and rounding out the trailer's hitch would be the better option. IT's moot anyway since even that won't allow it to pivot.

My suggestion is to take the boots from it, scrap the rest, and build your own like you originally planned

His Fansprojects armor came today and I made some shoulder missile for him.

 

You CAN fit a car on the end of the trailer, if you open his legs out. The car sits on the leg units and the nose of the car can fit a little inside, Another car can sit on top.

 

Also, Im in the process of adding metallic blue/teal details to my Classics Magnus, plus Autobot symbols and G1 missiles to the armour.

 

Anyone else?
