Even I'll admit that this looks good, and I haven't been a fan of the Classic seekers at all in the past. Still, I don't much see the point when I already have the G1 and WST versions of the same character, which are virtually identical to this one.

Well get ready, my friend....I think Dreadwind is the other remold.

 

 

Here is what I fear will happen: Dreadwind is indeed the remold, but it's another Starscream remold with a single tail (that splits when splitting the legs) and maybe slightly different wings to make it look more like an F-16. The extra 6th character would then be Darkwing, who will be a straight Jetfire repaint.

 

That's my personal guess, based on the G1 powermasters Dreadwind and Darkwing.

It's definite, we will see this in another line, or in classics revival when cosmos comes out. Come on now, we know how much money Hasbro keeps Starscreaming about when it comes to retooling and any remolding. I'm pretty sure hasbro is not hedging it's bets on making the costs back on the figure based on one weekend CON.

Its defintie we won't see them at retail. Part of BotCon/Hastak agreement is they can't do anything the other is doing.

 

The high price tag is why they make the money back on a single con btw.

Hasbro owns the mold...several months after the con thrust will be in stores under the resurgence of classics. I expect we will see him in 08 along with cosmos. Besides, I think the high con cost will be the biggest reason these things don't sell LOL.

 

Anyhow, it's Hasbros figure and if they want to seel it again, they will and in this case you can bet they will, thats a pretty expensive retool if you ask me, not as simple as switching a few heads around of molding a few new heads.
