Well, I tried not to sound like some Afterburner, at least not to you, but I couldn't find a way to do it.

Nice try ;) I am not going to give out numbers because they do change depending on who is running the factory that day j/k, but seriously, we have already stated remolding is in the thousands of dollars. But again, also realize we pay a lot more per unit, remolding or not, when we only order a small quantity. There are so many factors that go into everything. You can't just try to "break it all down" with out having all the factors and there are TONS of factors.

Kind of like when people complain that CDs only costs a few cents to make, but they forget to factor in all the work that actually goes ON the CD and the people that work to put together the whole package.

Typical response. Why can't people like you ever just tell the truth and get it over with? Seriously, this whole "You're gonna love what we're doing BUT I can't tell you yet because I like keeping secrets" crap gets really old really fast, and to make the tired "It's really expensive--can't tell you just HOW expensive--but it's way up there" excuse when people have, I think, a legitimate beef with the way you've done something is the mark of car salesmen and politicians, neither of which I like or respect.

 

Will Thrust be remolded or not?

 

If yes, is he the only one getting a remold?

 

If he is getting remolded, and he's NOT the only one, why waste those dollars on characters nobody gives a damn about instead of a unique, well-known one?

 

If you could just answer these questions I, for one, would be satisfied and my decision to buy or not buy would be an easy one. I think others share that view.

People like me? And I mean c'mon, I am not going to go to the Boss and say "can I have a spreadsheet of every single factor that goes into the cost of producing the convention, the toys and the club." C'mon, be realistic. Do other companies explain how every aspect of their business works? Of course not. I am a link to FP and am here to answer what I can and what needs to be. But you want to dissect it all down and try to figure it all out and I am telling you it is not that simple. The best way to understand? Start up a business and then you will see each and every factor that goes into running it.
