Things we are glad are NOT in the movie

I'm glad Tom Cruise and Quentin Tarantino seem to have nothing to do with this movie.

Gun Megatron

Bumblebee as a VW

Prime's mouth shield (so we can see him talk)

Everything from G1

Fanboys that think this is G1 the movie*

*I've been a TF fan since the begining, but come on, nobody complained about Optimus "Primal" in Beast Wars. Or hell, Beast Wars in general.

Um ... yes they did. It may not seem like it now, but when BW and BM came out a lot of fans were pissed at the change.

Once again demonstrating the ability of good material to make haters STFU.

*hopes*

Hot Shot.

Oh wait...

Hot Shot.

Oh wait...

Oh please, stop acting like the TF characters were ever anything more than traditional cartoon character templates.

I don't want to see stupid cameos. Cool ones are good (like Cullen as Prime's holographic "driver" that may or may not be there). But I'm talkinf character cameos stupidly disguised, like Cobra Commander or having a character named "Marissa Fairborne" or some nonsense.

Actually, I'd find it quite badass if, while the military was discussing threats, they were like, "Cobra has been shipping weapons" and whatnot, then got to the subject of the Transformer menace.

I agree.

With Valandar.

Me too.

With Terrorcon Blot.

I looked back at that post and I realized... what the hell was i thinking?

Say no to GI Joe.

NO JOE!

Doesn't change the fact that Hot Shot is the traditional "Retarded Bastard Child" cartoon character template. However, I can deal with him being in the movie since Hasbro made a Classics Bumblebee.

Where is a "Hot Shot" character even in the movie that we know of? Cause in the Old Script Bumblebee wasn't like Hot Rod, Hot Shot, or whoever you want to say he was. Nor has anything we've seen/heard of said he will be a Hot Shot rip-off. The Prequel Novel also uses him as a G1 Bumblebee template - eager, ready to prove himself to Optimus, and wants to be a warrior when he really does better work as a spy/scout. Sounds like a version of Bumblebee to me.

What I hope / am glad we won't have in the movie:

Chris Latta Starscream

Whiny Starscream

I mean seriously, you have footage of him wrecking downtown, and there are fans looking at this hulking warrior of awesome power and saying "I hope he WHINES!".

Looks like I got my wish.
