:points to my homeland:

Fembots should NOT exist until the Autobots understand humans more,and then only as an attempt by some of them to better relate. And there should be NO romances between male and female bots - they're not "wired" that way.

 

Either that, or they should be there from the BEGINNING. A pseudo-dimorphic race because whoever first built / designed them was dimorphic.

Or, they very well could have actual genders with the capability of mating to produce offspring. If you think about it, they are supposed to be life forms. One of the key factors determining whether something is a life form is the ability to self propagate through either sexual or asexual means. and, there are hints in the various TF lore that other forms of reproduction besides building a robot and imbuing it with a spark.

Things I'm happy that are not in the movie:

 

1.) The Story being Treated as some Kid's Toyline/Cartoon Logic being Forcibly Applied to the Movie.

2.) Daniel or any other main Little Child character.

3.) Megatron as a Gun and any other major Mass-Shifting Transformation.

4.) Too many Transformers used improperly due to Budget & Time Constraints.

I guess I'm on the side that doesn't think the science of why fembots exist doesn't need to be explained to still be valid in a movie setting. Who's to say alien transforming robots can't be presented in bothe genders. The key word being ALIENS.

 

For some reason as rediculous as the concept is I find it a lot more believable not to question as opposed to theoies of mass shifting/subspace. As long as the characters in either gender serve a purpose & are essential to the script I see no problem here.

 

IMO bullBlot fapfic/art is the reason people seem to come down so hard on the concept of animated female characters. :grr Not to get too off topic but some peple are just Powerglideing retarded when it comes to feteshes.

I think cheesey alt modes in the recent series and shows. The realistic alt modes are sacrificed for a great robot mode or gimmicks. I'm glad alt mode came first this time and no planet keys or minicons. Just good old fashion robots and pistols :thumb .

I mean seriously, you have footage of him wrecking downtown, and there are fans looking at this hulking warrior of awesome power and saying "I hope he WHINES!".

 

Also: I'm glad Hound isn't in the movie. While he IS my favorite character, he'd just feel like one of the more "tacked on" autobots, especially since apparently even Blackout can make holograms. Also, there's only so many ways you can transform a jeep...they don't give you a lot to work with...

I agree with you on Starscream. I pray to god he does NOT have a whiny, scratchy wimp voice. For if he does I'll be shaking my fist high in the air in disgust! And yeah there are still people who want a whiny, scratchy, raspy whimpy vocie for Starscream --- So F'ing Stupid!

 

 

I disagree with you on Hound. I think Hound could make for a good Movie Designed Autobot, and would look nice transformed slightly similiar to Alt. Hound - just broken up with more details and movie-fied. So because Hound wasn't an uber-master of Holograms, does not mean he's not useful. He could still be great at 3-d Topography/Geography and still be a very useful Scout/Recon Expert. Plus if they went more with his name and had him be able to trace individual energy signatures as well as a practical tracker - man would he rock so much ass!
