Another thing I noticed with that comparison (besides how much more awesome the new one is) is that the G1 paint job REALLY holds Magnus back. If you decide to make these for sale, I'll order mine with just a blue and white paint job, methinks.

 

Oh, and the new legs are VERY boss.

i think what makes it better is that it appears to be alot smaller width wise.

By the way, on the original toy, The rifle had two pegs so that Ultra Magnus could hold it with or without his armor. Are you gonna do something similar?

I think it appears slimmer because he doesn't have the wheel assembly on the legs yet and the red paint makes it look more fat.

well bot modes can hold the rifle just fine so i think it will remain with only one handle...

well here are the first pics of the trailer mode .... this is where things wll get interesting since at this point the rear will look very different then my previous version..... will defenitly look more high-tech.... also i,ve just finished a finger for the hands !! and will be VERY poseable..... 3 articulation points each !!! (almost as poseable as my metroplex project!!) so here are the progress pics !
