Fort Max reissue

Recommended Posts

I'd like to see something like the Micromaster bases kinda: Loads of Deluxe or Voyager size Transformers that can change into bases, robots (okay, even blocky E-Wing Saber-ish robots) & that can combine into a big city in base-mode (with Minicon garages, ramps, etc) or as part of a "build-a-figure" Fort Max style robot. Do combiners have to pass a "drop-test" I wonder? I know the Energon ones fall apart if you just think of looking at them the wrong way!

Why does everyone seem to hate the E combiners? The only one that is floppy is Superion and that's just his chest. I'm currently working on redoing all of the E combiners to look like the G1 combiners. Bruticus, and Devastator are actually rather good. In fact I'm working on making the 5 bot E Dev into a 6 bot Classics style Dev.

Anyway back to the topic at hand I'm thinking of getting a couple of Cyb Metroplex's and turning one into Fort Max and the other one into a more G1 Metroplex. I'll actually remove the head of the one so that I can make him a head master Fort Max. I plan on doing the same thing with an E Scorpinok too. I found one at a local Ollie's for $25 so I can afford to remove his head, and kitbash it into G1 Scorpinok.

The Chinese company that remade G1 TFs for Has/Tak in 1994 and sold them in China made FM as well.

It's probably the same company that is making 'official' (since they're recognized by AFA) knockoffs/reissues of Optimus, Swoop, Soundwave, cassettes, Bumblebee, in US packaging...

So I count on you guys! :yay

Slightly OT:

I'd like to see a US version of Grandus. It would be a great centerpiece and vehicle carrier for both Micros and Mini-Cons. I don't even care if it has a new name or different color scheme ala TF: Universe.

BRING IT ON HASBRO!
